Nice idea, not nearly as tedious as your other games. No, I don't think sound would make the game better, given that 99.999% of you would just mute it anyways. This game has some strategy in when you move forwards. I would prefer if the grey guy had less health.
TimL18: the designer never claimed it was an "achievement-earning game", and if you are only playing games for the achievements, then go play achievement unlocked.
I like it, it is making fun of RPGs, in which you tediously wander around, and in which battles are straightforward but time consuming. By not changing the picture on the screen, he is showing how absurd it is that you spend so much time on RPGs.
Because the teleporter at the beginning says "max absolute coordinates, 99,99", I thought that (99,99) would be the edge of the cave/world. This is false, it keeps going indefinitely. There is a "boss-like" monster with ~600 health and a bunch of different attacks, but he shows up randomly. There do not appear to be any item drops, which means the armor slot is useless. Also, the money has no use other than teleportation, but since you lose all of it when you die, it can't really be used for anything. I suggest using the doctor character, as his attack is very powerful, and his healing and reviving are indispensable. For a second partner I use lorenzo, his first attack slows the enemies charge and is useful against the plants.
The thing I don't get about this game is that when you fall in a gap, you get to restart the level, but when you run out of time, it's back to level 1.
I may just take the time to do that then,
