i personnaly like the waiting thing, it makes the game feel longer and forces you to budget your time, and it is a clever way to keep players coming back.
If you are someone that enjoyed this game, then check out Battle Conquest. It utilizes a similar concept except it is less cartoony, has a fully functional faction and guild system, has live pvp or ai battles that are much better and require more strategy, the devs are som eof the most active devs i have seen and hold frequent meetings in kong chats about player issues, and it is not a pay to play.
I think all of these token complaints are ridiculous. First off, you can still get tokens through the daily spin, and even though it isnt a lot, you can still get the items you would unlock with the tokens by successful quests, which are quite common. There are no parts of this game that require you to have tokens to unlock. Tokens are just a means of paying money to receive a boost in the game which is not unreasonable, so just enjoy it for what it is: a very good game.
I think there should be ways to customize guilds a little bit, like say allow each guild a banner that they can change to their liking. I feel this would be especially helpful in distinguishing between the different guilds in guild wars.

Dracus, that would just overcomplicate the game too much. I do think it would be cool to garrison archers i some of the environmental structures and forests, but i think that is as far as they should go.
I feel there should be more benefits for being in, and upgrading a guild. For instance, maybe put in a .5% resource prouction boost for being in a guild, and add another .5% every time it is upgraded.
yes, I get that you pay the repairmen, but where do they get the iron and wood to actually do the repairing if you arent giving it to them, it doesnt make much sense.

To everyone complaining about server problems: What did you expect when the game got 10x busier. It was impossible to guess that the game would end up on hot new games, and all the dev has to do is catch up. Be a little more patient.
