This project took me more than half a year and now it's finally out! Also, if you don't mind, please upvote the "Idle" in tags so people don't get too confused.
I don't mind that this game is similar to another, you can call it being the same sub-genre of idle games, whatever. But for now, it just doen't have enough progression. Nothing really new after you prestiged once, at lest from what I can tell.
Would be better if I when I hover to buy tools, I'd see dye per tick as "8.1(x18) = 145.8" instead of just "8.1(x18)". And even better if I didn't need to hover at all.
After playing for some time, I just started to use 1-star hint right away. Feels bad to ask for hints in what looks like a kids puzzle, but at least that way it's much more interesting than just plain brute forcing. Would be cooler if the levels had different shapes though.
I needed a way to explain to players why they can't click while the tiles are moving. I've made it pretty transparent so you can still try and plan your next move. If anyone has any suggestions on how to implement it better I'd love to hear from you.
UPDATE: I've moved the popup to below the grid, hopefully that helps. Let me know what you think.
Not well optimized. When the game is on the screen, it uses my CPU like crazy, even with animations turned off. When I scroll down to the comments, so the game is not on the screen anymore, high CPU load stops, but the game seems to stop as well after some time.
Heya 86Com! Thanks for taking the time to comment on our game, we really appreciate feedback! We are in the midst of tracking down what is hitting our performance so heavily, and hope to release an optimization patch as soon as possible.
Would be better with some hints. Like checking certain cells against a known solution. Right now it feels like you are left to bruteforce when you need just one more charm point somewhere.
Thank you for your feedback 86com. The issue with checking against a known solution is many levels have 5-6 possible solutions, so giving partial information on a solution can actually lead you in the wrong direction. So hints must be conceptual. The game is still under development and I am working on a way to add 'hints' that still keep the level feel rewarding to solve. In the meantime please feel free to post any level you are finding too difficult and I am happy to post hints until this feature is done. Please look forward to its inclusion.
The game died while I was AFK (just a :( face on a game screen). Reloaded. All of my tier 4 vents blew up as soon as I started. It showed they could have only 500k heat per tick. Paused. Switched to Staff panel and back and now it shows 1mil+ heat per tick. And now it works.
1. The chest minigame sucks, especially on laggy PC and breaks the flow of the rest of the game. Would be cool to turn it off completely (would even pay crystals for that), not just for 1 run for a ridiculous price. 2. x10 multiplier cap doesn't make sense. 3. Achievements don't seem to do anything. 4. Monsters killed with skills and environment don't seem to give exp. Otherwise a pretty good game.
Brainpower seems to be seriously bugged, at least at the beginning. I get much more of it from manually clicking buildings (even automated ones) than from waiting. Example: waited 10 minutes and gathered money = +2 BP. Immediately clicked all the building after that = +1 BP. Clicked once more = +1 BP.
Hey 86com, thank you for your interest in the game. To clarify, brain gathering is not linear. It's square root and polynomial, and it slows down after a while. To compensate this, we are giving a boost to brain gathering after each reset. It gathers the brain faster until it reaches the amount of brain already collected. Not sure what your BP status was at the point you made the comment but you mentioned the early game. Please note that we had a cap (non-intentional) at 100 BP which we discovered and fixed based on a few players input. Maybe this was the issue in your case as well. Hope this helps and looking fwd to see you again in the game :).
Daily quest shows "NEW!" even after I finished all available ones. Also it'd be handy to have an in-game pop-up simple calculator on the side (for example, temporarily replacing "next tiles"). Excellent game.
Hahaha OMG guys! This boss is so creepy!! Thanks. I'll fix this!
