I really like this game. It's a shame it has an energy system. Don't get me wrong, at 25$ a pop I'm not about to start dumping paychecks into building the perfect deck. But if it wasn't for the energy system as it is now. I would be spending some money here. Even if the upgrades you buy permanently increased energy regeneration. Or if you offered a oremium "buy in" where you pay 5 to 15$ and do away with the energy system all together I'd buy that. I like it enough that for the moment anyhow I'll try to keep it tabbed out on the side and check back now and again. But the energy systems and pay 1$ to play another 20 minutes schemes really have ruined what would otherwise be really enjoyable games. There is so many of them though, they have to be taking a few people for alot of money.
Do you get penalized souls for resetting? I didn't notice that until just now. I have like 41 undecillion souls. After I reset it said next reset I'll have 400 nonillion souls? It quickly recovers, but do you permamently spend souls on reset? And yeah there is alot of bugs in the achievement system right now.
I actually thought I was going to like this game. Even after I figured I'd need to grind 30+ runs to upgrade 1 card 2 levels. Then I realized that there was energy. So if you want to seriously play this, be prepared to burn through 20$ a day or so? Umm... no thank you.
I checked on this game a few times, then left it run for a little over a month. I figured it was about time to reset. I did the math and my first reset increased my profits by 544.8 times what they were last playthrough. I guess maybe it may have been a smidge overdue... I just remember playing like 4 days and it said I'd get a few souls. So I figured it needed some time to simmer. Post reset it's really easy to fly right up the ranks. Been playing for 40 minutes maybe? And if I reset now I'll be getting 26 times the profit I am this run. So it's speeding right along now.
It's a really nice game graphically. I see alot of feedback that I'd agree with. Mostly what drove me crazy is that once you click a target it should stay targeted until dead (instead of 3 shots) also you have to stand RIGHT on top of a resource to collect it. It's very easy to click on a resource and then walk next to it and be so close that it's hard to click in a spot that will move you ever so slightly where you need to go. I'd notice the clunky controls alot less if the resources auto collected on kill. I know alot of games have the disappearing coin mechanic and make you walk to the coins to collect them. But at best it's a mild nuisance, and at worst in a case like what we have here where you have resources evaporate over clunky control issues, well it's pretty frustrating.
Hmm... after a few hours of playing, I can now manage to kill a bunny with great effort and significant losses. And I'm supposed to be able to eventually kill gods?
Pretty major bug... I purchased a level 4 upgrade when I only had level 1, it charged me for the level 4 upgrade but only gave me the level 2 upgrade... uhhg.
I played and love the second and third feed us games. The intro to this game is truly epic. I really hate the way the rocket torpedos was handled and the fact that there is no way I can see this content. But I can overlook that and avoid clicking on the upgrade.
I really love the art work and dark music. I do wish you could grow beyond 35 pounds and get to the point where you can eat the jellies and eventually the shark.
I haven't sat down and done the math. But one of the choices on the list of minions seems overwhelmingly better than the rest. It actually feels broken because all the choices after it there's no point in buying.
I'm a little surprised to find the ranger is an overall better healer than the cleric. The cleric is capable of more burst healing, and half of his spells are devoted to healing. But the ranger salve is so efficient he can sustain long term healing like the cleric can only dream. I'm thinking remove one of those many repeat heals the cleric has and give him an efficient heal over time.
Somehow this came up as a recommended game for me. Even though I keep giving facebook style games the pay to play really low ratings... Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for a game. But if you want to play one of those actively you need to start dropping crazy amounts of money into it. And you never own it, there will always be the you must wait 17 hours to advance mechanic in them. So I never give any of them a chance. I wish there was an option to ignore all energy based games(pay to play) from your search results. Nothing personal, your game looks quite nice... I just avoid this style of game like the plague.
Welp... I could love this game for no other reason than the tutorial. The variety of weapons on the ships is nice. And while the waves are rather uninspiring, the capital class ship battles are pretty epic.
The guys lining up to be slaughtered with their shields certainly makes this game memorable. But knowing that the fight isn't able to be won took some of the replay value out of it for myself.
I'm a little confused... I just started playing and not even a minute later I'm bankrupt? I didn't even really get a chance to check the basic mechanics of the game out and it's game over? This gives me a great idea for a new game... called epic fail. You start with an empty lot and build whatever you want there because you have 100,000$ and 5 seconds after the game starts you have a bill due for 5,000,000$ Would make the coding requirements really really light. But you can file that one under the short games category.
We have an interesting new 'gold purchase' coming soon that might be what you're looking for. Can't say too much at the moment tho !! :)
