"The game is broken here, so go play it somewhere else" is essentially what we are being told. Even without the memory issues and the sound issues (when I turn my music off I generally take that to mean there should be no music playing), the game is boring. There's no challenge. There's no careful weighing of resources. Buy a bunch of dwarves and spam the attacks until you win and before you run out of food. Rinse, repeat. Sorry, devs. You missed the mark on this one. It's prettier, but you've lost the simple and elegant balance of the first one, which was the entire challenge.

3/5 Not a bad game, fun little timewaster, but there would have to be something much more in here that would entice me to spend $8 on the Steam version. The upgrades are useless, the cutesy dialogue is kinda' annoying, the controls are clunky, and the "skip dialogue" doesn't actually work well.
Just sent in a bug report on the Bonus Towers/Research Pylons mixup in game, but I'd like to add that now I'm not getting them from the Fame boxes. It says they're going into my Items, but they never show up. And I have yet to see a Bonus Tower 2, even though the game says I have received several.
I keep seeing people complaining about how missing one day on the daily gifts causing it to reset is "mean" or "too harsh". It's a GIFT. It's a "hey, thanks for logging in every day to play", it's not integral to gameplay, it's just a nice little bonus the devs threw in. It also makes it easier for people to keep playing for FREE. Quit complaining about free stuff. I think it's lovely they do it at all. If you can't wait seven whole days for that particular bonus to come around again then perhaps idle games are not for you and your impatience.

The only negative I have about this game is the timer going when you can't do anything. The timer starts even before you click OK and keeps going after you do the final upgrade to environment. That means you need 1035 points, not 1000 to actually win. Still 4/5 game!
