Haha. Well on a serious note, I will be adding WebPlayer support so browsers that support it will be able to run the WebPlayer version should the WebGL fail to load.
Is it a generic incremental/idle? It is. Is it extremely shallow and single tracked? It is. Is there no mute button? Nope. Is it too laggy to accomplish anything? It is. Is there any reason to try and get far into it? There is not. Is there a any slight reason to give it better than 1 star? I love to encourage development... but sadly this one... It seems like a poorly designed proof of concept AT BEST. Sorry.
I liked it, short but still good. One problem I had was I got to the last "step" of the game, and accidentally went back a page, and had to restart completely. I was able to breeze through because I knew what to do, but I couldn't complete the last step until I actually read the book again. Took me a minute to figure that one out
Just got through most of level 34, got a message that I unlocked a new spell 'rage', and got really excited. Then I read the description for it.... disappointed. Oh well, protection is hard to beat. I agree with user sleepingpill, a repeat queue for spells would be awesome
With the new ability skip (which was needed, thank you) it seems we no longer have the "buy max" clickable box on the arsenal tab. I am stuck buying max all of the time now.
Please lower the gold and gem cost of abilities. I have to really grind hard to raise my gold and gem income just slightly, but I have enormous stockpiles of the basic resources just wasting away with nothing to spend them on because I'm waiting for the gold/gems. Hit level 30 about 4 times now so maybe something will come later boosting them but as it sits now, I'm just waiting.
Do global spells persist through dark rituals? I am hesitant to use them on a run I know isn't going past that 'next threshold'. And how does the speed up global spell work? Is that a one and done for the cost, or is there a time or something.
All in all, I really like the game, the theme is enjoyable, it has a fairly unique primary mechanic, and a decent prestige system. However, the game is lacking in some things, as mentioned above, it could really use some general info for the player, there are not a lot of upgrades or achievements, and the screen size needs changed. I did not experience any lag like some, even with everything maxed, and lots of helpers all flying around the screen, the game runs just fine for me. A stat page would also be nice. I feel like this could be a great game in the idle/incremental genre with some polish and refinement. 5/5 from me, enjoying it after a few hours still.
I didn't figure out the 'sine' blocks are the red blocks that fall from the sky until my third reset. It also took me a while to figure out which rare blocks were the best (still not entirely sure about it). As far as I can tell, as the rare blocks go, the least rewarding are the brown ones, then green, then blue, the lighter the shade, the more rewarding it is, so the lightest blue shade would be the best payout of any block. I still have no idea what the basic shapes on the blocks mean (Star Triangle, Square etc.)
So excited to see this came out, but... I thought 'learn2fly idle 2' was next. Either way, super stoked, but would have been more stoked for the other.
Not as bad as some of the comments here make it out to be. Yes, the color scheme needs changed, badly, but it isn't impossible to read, nor is it that challenging to read. Not much to do as it sits though, and I wish there was more to this game. More upgrade choices, more lines/lanes, and a prestige system would be more than welcome. I give it 5/5 on potential and to encourage development, 3/5 as it sits.
A lot more than you would think at first. At first you would think it was just a simple, get wood, collect some stone and that is the end of it. But it quickly turns into more of a "civilization" game where you must gather new technologies and expand to more islands. 5/5 from me
Looked at the ratings, and the comments "Wow, this must be awful", played the game for all of five seconds "People are ridiculous, this isn't that bad at all." I give it a 3.5/5 (7/10), but since everyone seems to feel like being jerks, I will give you a five to even it out. Keep persevering and block out the haters!
I lost all of my bonuses, which ehh... But losing the one I actually spent Kreds on is painful. I sent an email, but I highly doubt it will be seen since this apparently happened to everyone. Though, I will be gracious and give a two(ish) week period before I notify Kongregate of this theft, which is what it is.
By the stars.... This game! I learned, I laughed, and I cried in utter amusement a few times... In less than 15 minutes so far. I feel as though if the developer put much more work into this, it could turn into an empire of a game.
