I really love how these games introduce new elements individually and then bring them together in harmony.
But the real most satisfying thing? Those pesky superfluous locked blocks / immovable ones that you get to explode when you clear a board.
I really do dig the weird, wonky art style, and the puzzles are pretty intuitive, but clickable items are a nightmare. Having had to resort to just clicking all over a screen just to see what'd react.
> Finish last instalment
> Micromanage all the items to be put in the designated item storage that the game says is an item storage after you've beaten the game
> load this game
> entire inventory empty aside from the sword I had equipped at the end of the last game because I put everything else in the storage
what
I mean I love this little series, but oucccchhh that's harsh
Aww level 45 you too.
Really dug this! You took time introducing new elements before mixing them up with the existing ones, and the puzzles never got frustrating. Excellent chill track too.
Top notch, lads and ladettes.
I really like how you (with the previous one as well) take your time to introduce new elements before you start mixing in the old ones. I also appreciate that all the special pieces were new (or at least I think they were?)
I mean you *could* have just done Unpuzzle: Now with more unpuzzling, but you spent some time on it. Kudos!
Plus the hint system is very forgiving (erm, not that I needed it of course, scoff, scoff) and the chill music makes even when you're frustrated (slightly) acceptable.
Hope to see another installment in the future.
This is one of the most creative puzzle games I've ever played, and none of them are obvious, but all of them are so easy once it clicks. It all just, flows, at no point did I feel stuck or frustrated. Excellent. Just excellent.
I get why Mr Spooky would set up an intricate method of locking away his secret basement, but a random chest found in the ocean is unlocked by the memorabilia in a seafaring museum? Or are all these objects magically linked to the chest? Like a note in a bowl underneath a barrel fountain? Deepest lore.
This was nice, relaxing and had a perfect difficulty curve. Introducing new elements and then bringing old ones back gradually with the new is done very well. My only issue (and this is probably all on me) is in the later stages all the symbols on the jigsaw pieces were getting cluttered so I wasn't sure what something could do unless I double checked it by clicking on it. (This might have something to do with my attention span)
I still loved it lots! Hoping for a sequel somewhere down the line!
I know this is set up to sell piñatas so I'm not going to comment on that, even though I find the cake fluff horribly annoying;
but what really bothers me is that I have been getting pages and unlock a recipe;
... and it doesn't *do* anything. So I spent *TIME* on this and watched several ads so I can unlock ... a joke? Like fine if you telegraph this in advance but in hindsight I now wish I would have just gone straight for the unlockables instead because WHY
