Is it normal that i can't unlock the duke from the new patch, even with all quests done and all skills/stats maxed? I refreshed, i got every achievement i can but still can't unlock him... am i missing something?
You can get over 100% damage reduction and avoidance, there should be diminishing returns (for example get 10% reduction of the remaining, so 10%, then 9%, then 8.1% etc). Also some skills would be nice, passive or active, like hots, aoe damage, drop% increase etc. Attack priority doesn't function properly and last there should be an option to focus on a specific weapon, so much time is wasted at drops you dont need or are downgrades and you auto equip them. Overall VERY good for first day, 3/5, can do better with balcne and QoL changes :)
Thanks for the feedback, it really makes sense this way of scaling the points increase, I will find a way to improve. About the skills I was already thinking about some and how I will implement them.
Still got major performance issues even after the upgrade, huge spikes and warnings about memory at 1e15 damage+, unplayable at 1e18 damage and 40+ floor. Not sure what you changed but you need to fix your damage calculations for sure. For example you can count up to 10^-3 of your current damage and consider everything below irrelevant or actually fix your scaling multipliers so you dont get to such pointlessly high numbers.
If you still have issues equal to what they were. Try refreshing a few times (CTRL+F5 / closing and reopening tab as well). Others reported that solved their issues. If this helps, it is related to browser cache not picking up the new update yet.
1) Equipping gear is pointless, its faster to just scrap everything and not waste time and scraps on equipping armory altar and academy enchants. Your gear system makes 40% of the game pointless sadly. 2) I had a popup about ascending at level 15, would be nice to find that info somewhere, do i need lvl 15 woods, ruins, character or what? You should add some help/info section. 3) Cant see info of adventurers already fighting, would be useful. Went from 2/5 to 3/5 and can easily be higher with some small fixes.
That's how I get you: Today it's that one extra star; Tomorrow, who can say? Crafting improvements to dazzle? New end game content to keep you enthralled?
Would be nice to know when you go to the next level and also, even if intended, it is stupid that i have to equip and unequip my adventurer the whole time, your gear NEEDS to be saved.
I understand what you're saying about the gear--I may add a softcore mode where gear is permanent--but the game is designed around using what you've found, rather than steady guaranteed progress.
My hope is that the limitations will allow for some creativity: "I haven't tried a fire build but I just found this great fire weapon, I have to go for it." -or- "Oh no, I don't have a weapon that fits the build I've been using, how do I make it work anyway." etc.
As for showing when the battleground levels up, you're absolutely right. Silly thing not to have, I'll add it next update.

Numbers get to high at start of 4th prestige layer, every kill there is a serious delay and a warning for unresponsive site from firefox. I doubt anyone got much higher than that without hacks/cheats. You need to fix those huge numbers or the way you calculate stuff.
Needs some unique feeling depending on the class except the aoe and armor types like unique skills and passives, some better scaling (x10 hearts cost per skill unlocked is way to much) and a reason to have more than one mage or zerk one shitting waves, maybe bonuses for each class you have unlocked? Good first try though, 3/5.
Keep getting a bug where i cant place laser towers but i can place any other tower. Occasionally i have one laser tower placed and i cant place second, other times i cant even place the first one. Tried selling, refreshing, restarting, same thing.
Every new patch for the last few months is like : Farm wair for a few months, clear the raid in a few minutes, farm more wair. No longer interesting, seriously needs catch up mechanincs. Lowered my rating last patch and i did it again now.
Kinda pointless to have to redo skill quests, you can skip to lvl 20+ easily after a few ascensions anyway. We should be able to keep the skills, i dont mind the other quests, but skill quests should stay.

I find this reply misleading: I said melee, not tank. My casters have 27-30k hp (by level 100-rank 10 to make a fair comparison) and assassin (melee, front row) has 16k, tank has 160k, so assassin just instantly dies at the start of every stage.
Gems from quests = finite resource, gems from levels = finite resource because its only the first time, gems from dungeons i havent tried but since you need portal coins its behind paywall.
Also 100 kreds for LESS THAN 2k gems so you can't buy the 25 portal coins on purpose. That is just lame.
Finally 10 USD for 24 coins? What? You can practically spend those in 6 hours of boosts or ¬23 portal coins. Way to greedy approach for an unbalanced, unfinished generic idle game.
To add on my previous comment, not sure who thought about a melee champion with 45-50% less hp than your mages insta dying every fight. Not sure if we can get green gems some other way like someone suggested but first run 100 levels 1.7k gems, second run 0, so i suppose not or the chance is stupidly low. Also resets and dungeons behind a 3 hour - or pay - wall at a beta. I m just frustrated.
