Hi hyperjag7! Congratulation on this first episode. It has a great lead in, and I really like it. I will send you a list of suggestions if you like. As I know how much work you've put into this I will give you the 5/5! Keep up the good work!
Good work! I like the new levels and how story plot has evolved! Keep up the great work! Even so not all jokes and puns work for me, but that's ok. Some messages in the first new mission (horsemen) are broken. They don't show up correctly, you should correct the line break in the Maker messages to fix them. Happens to me too from time to time. The rest of the game was good and I haven't seen any glitches. One last feedback - I'm swimming in money and items. Maybe adjusting this would be a good idea, or make possibilities to spend this money in say an apartment or a car ;).
Good work, it's really addictive after a short while. If you could make an endless mode with more islands or a random world, this could really work out.
Please note, that this is a HTML5 Game. All HTML5 Games use JavaScript, there is no other way to make a game like this run. In case you are using a Script Blocker or an older Browser who doesn't support JS, the game will not run properly. I will get rid of the start screen music and set the sound and music volume a little lower. After that I will be working on the graphic improvements (enemies, which look to fantasy-like), music and the content of the second chapter.
Great episode again, I really liked the songs. They fit very well to the story. The links in the credits however don't work (chrome). Also there seems to a problem with "Edge" when loading the game (it doesn't load at all, but who uses edge anyway - but I noticed it by chance.) Good luck on your path, I hope my support helps :).
The update is good, starting skills and new items. I like it. But than an orc warrior constantly rushed and attacked me - this new rush attack seems a little strong.
I think it can be frustrating if you don't highlight hot-spots. You should a feature like that. The graphics to plane you can not make out what you can klick.
Another ideas for the rogue: Summon ranged weapons (either as active ability for mana or passive like the archer's god bonus). A ranged arrow attack (poison or arrow rain) would be nice too. Both should require Range, as there ar e no skills for that yet. A Sleeping Gas Grenade would also be a nice idea. Also it would be cool to visit these dungeons on a worldmap - but that would be probably to much for a rogue game like this.
First few ideas will be in the ranger class (possible release tomorrow). Sleeping bomb is something I've been meaning to do, especially for those late game swarms. For the world map, my next game will use similar combat mechanics but be a much larger open world RPG without the permadeath, and more of a focus on developing a character (or party of characters) over a long campaign.
Ideas for the missing rogue abilities: lockpicking (requires stealth), blink (stealth), mental fortitude, shroomology, (so he has the passive abilities of the others classes)
Good ideas, lock picking has been mentioned quite a few times. To make up for those cases where you don't get enough treasure vaults spawned maybe it could be something like Treasure Hunter: lets you pick locks and doubles the gold you find. Shroomology I want to keep for just the warrior (I want to remove it from barbarian), to give the warrior tome some useful things to encourage people to cross train into it. Mental fortitude is actually a great idea, the rogue definitely needs more passives. Also not blink but a sprint ability is in the works (functionally its nearly the same thing). Thanks for the feedback!
The easiest way to get food is to use a wishing well or a scroll of acquirement. You will get 5 food, which might not be as good as the items you can get, but it can get you trough the game.
I'm not quite sure if supporting to series at the same time is too much for one person. It looks fun, but I'm not quite sure if it stays the same way as medieval cop. So far I can't see differences except for the fighting and the minigames. If you really could customize your gang and win the game in your own way, it would be great. But this one-shot isn't showing that.
This game is longer and better than Door 1. Well done. Untieing Aert is the best and hardest part in this game. But all of it is logical somehow, if you keep your mind open.
Yes, the final chapter. Thank you!
