I keep wanting this game to be better than it is. but it simply... isn't. There are lots of good concepts; the 3d battlefield is great, the artwork is good. but the management features are simply terrible. too much waiting, takes literally weeks of grinding to break out of the novice areas. too slow, too plodding. not worth spending money on frankly.
I do hope your next offering is better. I started off giving this one 4 stars, then 3, and now 2. sad.
"why doesn't my game load with firefox its just stuck on Please wait screen and chat window says game info loaded and also stuck. help please"
try updating both your flash plugin and your unity player plugin.
need to be able to unequip units that are unconscious after battle. why should I be forced to wait an hour for them to revive just to swap their gear with another unit?
Lord Sword gives you a hint as to what it does from the description.
it's vorpal, or at least it's supposed to be. percentage is pretty low though; feels like maybe 1%.
"The gap after level 100 is boring. When i close the game, my raiders go for a tiny bit more and then stop. i got the 20k helper, but the grind to 50k only to find out it'll be another 5k after that takes more than 12 hours with the game open.."
one, why are you closing the game? that actually DOES stop it. just leave it running in a window in the background.
two, are you sure you're actually farming experience in a good area? at your level, you should be farming experience at the last farm area.
three, to speed the process up long term, spend a day farming the sewers for transparent swords, then go back to the abandoned mtns once you have a few of those equipped.
four... boring? it's an IDLE GAME. you're not supposed to just sit and watch it for hours on end... though you certainly can if u want to.
"there should be different loot than just the same items in the raid theres really no point to keep doing the raid one you get that raid item for all of your people"
each of the raids drops different items, with different chances for each.
some are quite rare, and likely you have just not run across them yet.
after my chars got over about level 145, I started noticing they ocassionally get an exclamation mark for a half second appearing over their heads.
anyone know what that's about?
That's most likely the taunt skill. When your raider taunts someone it makes a yellow exclamation mark appear over their head, and a red one over the target's head. For exactly half a second by the way!
earlier someone said they weren't getting temporary swords to drop in the sewers.
I just did a 12 hour run in the sewers and got 4, just to say that yes, they are still dropping.
drops stopped happening from farm mobs at some point. I got a few in my first few farming runs, but since then, nothing. went from level 10 to level 30 on all my chars without finding a single item.
gets back from half hour of early raiding, earns about 50 gold...
trader shows up.. cheapest item? 500 gold. next turn, another 50 gold, mercenary shows up... wants 20 THOUSAND to hire him.
um.... maybe matchup offers with level or something?
I like the idea... but there is too much randomness to the encounters. too much pure luck involved in finishing a mission. very very little strategy really.
last comment:
there should be a better variety of basic decks to buy, preferably aligned with a particular power (axis/allied), maybe divided also into air/armor/infantry for a total of 6 deck types you can buy.
This is a neat suggestion and something we do have in mind, we want to have a bit more variety of cards before handling premade Axis/Allied decks but it indeed sounds great!
ai cheats during "historical" missions. Their units, especially in wave 3, often get to shoot twice. Obviously yet another hackneyed method to frustrate players into trying to spend more money.
why, oh why, do you people keep trying this crap?
Hey Ichthyic, this sounds very strange and if it happened it's indeed a bug, did it happens too often to you? Can you tell us your browser and flash version? AI should never to attack twice on the same turn. Cheers!
