...also, poison damage can cause crits in and of itself, which means sometimes you will just stand there, and continuously cast ice spikes while enemies far away off the screen get hit with them, get poisoned, cause more crits, more ice spikes....
there was a tip about using the merc with the ice set. good tip!
however, you actually don't need the whole ice set. look for a frozen stone with the "shoot ice shards on critical" ability. that's all you need. then you can use any other items you want, but I recommend other items with pushback/critchance boost/damage increase (regular or on crit). the ice shard ability will trigger on crit a lot, freezing all your enemies. if you also get poison on that frozen stone (common), then they can be both frozen and poisoned. with pushback... this means big groups are frozen, pushed back, and poisoned. you hardly ever need to heal. go agility 2:1 over intelligence/vitality. and only put points into int or vit every other turn. so, say 10 points agility, 5 int. then next level 10 points agility 5 vit. etc.
how do weapons or items that have abilites that take mana to activate work? how do you "activate" them? like: "burning bow - does 100% damage for 5sp". how do you activate the extra damage?
actor graphics poorly developed; nothing but color on a skeleton. level design very weak, no variety. same with opponents.
something I might expect as an unfinished programming job from a high school student.
needs too much work to judge what the potential is.
come back with something twice as polished as this, and you might get some better feedback.
some of the shapes are rather indistinct. example: the second to last object on level 5. it's a fuzzy black square? there should never be any indistinct object in an object finding game.
