Some of the upgrades are insignificant, especially later in the game. Too easy. Beat the game on my first try, but I do play a lot of tower defense games. I like bears and I am significantly inebriated right now, which doubles my comment on beating this on my first try. I should not be able to do so while very drunk. Whisky is delicious. Yum yum yum.

Jade letters, for example, add damage to every other letter in the word, so jade letters plus an exceptionally long word will be very effective.
Game is small, graphics need more contrast, it can be difficult to see what is going on. Also, the font and layout of the store and other screen... Terrible! Gameplay is pretty good, though. Fix the visual issues and this will be very nice.
I liked the original more; it seemed to be a little slower paced with more strategy involved. This version also seemed a lot shorter. Still a good game, but there just needs to be more of it.
Also, people with animated avatars make me want to hit things.
I didn't have much of an issue with the game until the very last mission. The jump in difficulty is insane - not sure how you're expected to win that one. o.o
Fun game, but very easy, especially when you get onto the moon base. Give 'em all flame throwers, set up some turrets, and you're pretty much invincible. Would love to have slower, but more tactical combat. The concept as a whole is great, though. Would love to see a Mastermind 2.
I liked the premise and the visuals, but the gameplay was lacking. It was incredibly easy (even though it took me until I was past level 50 to figure out I could upgrade the floor panels), and though I did spend money on my own personal guns I never really used them. Not sure what the grenade gun is useful for over the machine gun. Would make sense if there were swarms of weaker enemies, perhaps. Could use an enemy that disables nearby turrets, forcing the player to actually do something. (o: Not sure what the cash gun does, the baddies never made it that far (never went past the first panel on the first floor).
Fun game, but definitely on the easy side. Also, 'Instants' don't seem to be particularly instant. Perhaps an option could be added to an Instant to be automatically cast at the beginning of the next player's turn.
Hm. Unlike some others here, I seem to have killed everything without using the item cheat. (o;
Anyways, the very last boss has an insta-kill attack, but it requires all of his focus to use. So, if you can hit him with a single Disruption, he is unable to use that attack until he powers up again. My final skill list for the last battle, as a Gunslinger:
1x Block, 2x Shatter Bolt, 2x Disruption, 1x Heroic Motivation, 2x Magic Bolt.
Also had maxed Regeneration, which was incredibly useful. Some luck still required, and the Assassin character's critical hits are one responsible for most of the damage dealing, but it's definitely possible.
A bit too difficult in the beginning, but very easy in the end. More expensive units seem to have no other benefit than more health / damage, with a higher cost and build time. Once you are keeping the enemy at bay, spamming the best unit you have wins the game. Perhaps a few more units with tactical abilities would make things more interesting: stunning enemies, healing nearby friendly units, increasing nearby unit attack power or defense values, etc. Never bothered with a tower other than Thunder; It was cheap to buy and cheap to build and works great. (o: Entertaining game, but once through was enough.
People seem to enjoy sending lots of tanks on the very last level - but I have a different approach. I don't send any troops at all. You can win this level using nothing but air support. The major advantage is that it is impossible for you to lose morale, since your troops aren't dying. (o;
Good game. Not fond of the mine fields though - should be a set number of mines, which can be destroyed with artillery and tanks before your men run over them. I found it to be rather easy, too - beat it the first time through without losing once.
