I take that back. Starting an investigation on "759" does this even in the normal Kongregate page. The weird part is I got a message telling me to investigate them...
For some reason opening the game's frame in a new tab results in a "Hacking the game is bad, mmmkay?" message. Just so you know. I hope my account didn't land on a sort of blacklist or anything like that.
1) Catch fire.
2) Drive in the oncoming lane.
3) When a car comes toward you, climb to the roof and jump to it.
Apart from being kinda awesome, this is almost certain to get you a Takedown (your new car will destroy your old, flaming one during the 180 degree turn) or a Long Distance. (Which one you get depends on how far the oncoming car is from you when you leap to it. Long enough for Long Distance is too long to cause the cars to collide and do a Takedown.) You might even get a Close Escape, if your ride has been on fire for a long enough time!
@deadchinchilla No, it's red because it's fast, not the other way around.
Seriously, car manufacturers keep doing this. I'm looking at you, Ferrari! (Not that it's a bad thing though; red sports cars look really good IMHO.)
If you haven't read it yet, here (bit.ly/bcwhkh) you can read some of the stuff DJStatika wrote about the upcoming game. Definitely worth a read if you're a Starfighter fan. There's also a video of an early alpha build of the game!
Awesome game! Freeway Fury could really use a sequel or a new version. I, for example, would really enjoy a level/mission mode, where the player has to take down or capture specific cars, catch or escape another carjacker, deliver a car to the finish line or outrun pursuers. A welcome addition would also be police cars randomly crusing around and chasing the player. Great to see an original concept in a game, especially one that has a lot of potential - like this game. 5/5 for the innovative and addictive gameplay.
Maybe the 759 doesn't mean what you think it does?
