The Meta achievements for the specialist orbits are completely broken: progression on orbiting nodes *massively* outpaces progression on central nodes, and achievenemt requirements don't reflect the difference one bit.
@Anseal those augments already improve, but the rate is roughly 10-12 levels per bonus level. At the very least, it should indicate how long until the bonus actually increases, or maybe group together the levels costwise
They are a bit different because Kongregate doesn't allow decimals, so we lose some milliseconds of the total time, but in the end makes no difference, you just need to calculate the score in seconds ;)
The game is full of shortcuts or faster routes for those wanting to speedrun, some of them skip almost the whole level, and this is fully intended, so yeah, it's made on purpose ^~^
I feel like walls and wall-jumps aren't utilized as well as they could be: their only real use is to let you reach the evil eye and repeatedly wall-jumping just so you can get high enough to hit the eye isn't very engaging.
It was more of a later added feature to add convenience for reaching stranded boxes and the evil eye. Meaning, it isn't intended to be a main feature. But I get what you're saying, and you're right. so if you have exact feedback on how it can be utilized better, that would be great!
Very interesting! I think I managed to get through the entire game only slowing down gates, humans, the fire platform in 8, and the middle shrike in 24.
