it feels like no difference for my log income if my smokemachine is level 1 or level 31. is the cloud really doing something? and what exactly is the clock doing?
i just hit 95 average happiness as well with my 59. lifetime. 309 more resets to beat 100 average happiness, but i wont do that without a way to automate more and without the lag fixed
there needs to be a purpose for money. right now you basically need money at the start of a run to get to an average of 100 happiness. All the money that isnt used for happiness is just there to earn more money that you dont need. leveling up the bonus for tech giant sounds like a nice idea but needs something to use that money on. just leveling up tech giant isnt really enough motivation to earn big amounts of money. especially considering that i will probably hit happiness 100 average way before i can use tech giants
@Rawrkanos well 130 base income is pretty easy to get as soon as the lag problem is fixed. 50 sec for a lifetime with the last passive worker and 2 income per lifetime at over 35 happiness
it seems like the passive workers calculate each hour separately for each operation. That means for the year passive each second it has to calculate 1920 hour ticks which makes it lag like crazy. just make the year passive worker give 1920 times the money that the hour passive worker gives and dont let it calculate 1920 times each second. and the same for all the other passive workers with corresponding values
reducing wait time and giving the choice what colony to conquer after colony 6 does nothing for your game when less then 0,01% of your playerbase will ever make it to that point. 512 winged ants for colony 4 will make most if not all legit players quit your game right there.
why should we build tier 9? my third tier 8 button produces 4 e+57 at the moment and i have all tier 9 upgrades and both tier 9 buttons i unlocked so far only produce around e+42. and with eagle badge unlocked for tier 9 i still only get 2 megabucks for the ascension. so what is the use for higher tier buttons?
do you get more megabucks per ascension with later tiers? because with only 2 MB per ascension and leveling up the skills being nearly useless if not done in big amounts it gets really tedious fast. and something that the start of a new ascension doesnt feel as slow as the start of the game everytime would be nice. every ascension is the same for me now. a real long first run to get a few roboclickers followed by 6-7 3 min runs everytime using the spells at the end of run to get more roboclickers
wow 32 winged ants plus 8 soldiers takes forever only for a reward of 10% more idle what ever that means and the next colony costs 512 winged ants? thats so totally not balanced its not even funny anymore
does that mean population has no influence at the moment?
and is it intended that im stuck at seaside hill for weeks because i dont get curry from the challengers or is it just bad luck?
It has an influence, before the last update the influence was just lower than it is now. Before the last update the scaling was really low for populations bigger than 5000. Now it scales better after that.
And there is no Curry ingredient in the game if you are looking for that. Curry is a theme for a dish with a mix of different spices. You can create it yourself if you use at least 4 different spices + one main ingredient (anything other than spice with at least 100 gram).
the higher challengers really need a bigger reward. they are way harder than the level 0 but only give a little bit more money, which is useless because you make way more with restaurants than with challengers anyway. so the only benefit that stays is one extra secret per challenger level which is basically nothing. i think when you can get researches high enough for challenger levels 1 and 2 it wouldnt hurt game balance to give the higher challengers more cooking medals as reward
You can already get more cooking medals at higher difficulties. It is 1 + difficulty /3 rounded down, but currently capped at 3. So at difficulty 3 you get 2 medals and 4 secrets and at 6+ you would get 3 cooking medals and 7 secrets. Difficulty 6 may sound hard at the beginning, but there are actually a few people who can already constantly beat difficulty 6.
Also don't underestimate the secrets. They can add up and are powerful if you have enough.
is it just me beeing too stupid or are the challenger battles too hard? i only won 2 of 10 battles against the easiest challenger and i dont understand why? theres a judge that likes sweet and dislikes sour and loves variation of ingredients or what its called. i serve a dish that has lots of sweet and no sour and and the opponent still gets alot more points from that judge even if he serves a sour dish with only 1 ingredient. that makes no sense to me
The biggest factor in the challenger battles is your recipe quality research. Although the first one should be doable even with low level research (~20). To beat the second one you should have at least ~120 quality research on the recipe you use, for second difficulty you need ~220 quality research and a battle fairy.
oh saw the mission reward now. thats not even enought to justify buying the wagon you need for the mission. at least give tokens as reward for missions.
somewhere in the comments you said each station gives you between 1+wagonlevel and max passengers but i very often get fewer passengers than passenger wagon level.
Updates are on their way, scheduled for next weekend.
