Hm, did you play the game on a shared computer? If someone else has completed the game before on that machine, I think it's possible for you to also get an achievement.
Quality concept, I like it. However, it's pretty weird that the main character has such poor quality art compared to literally everyone else. But, since this was basically a demo, I think it was all pretty cool.
"Quest: Join a Faction!" Well maybe that will make this a little more boring. So I can be....horde or alliance? Are you FREAKING kidding me? Come on, at least try a LITTLE!
How to play Snail Bob:
1: spend 15 seconds figuring out how to finish the level
2: spend 15 minutes searching every inch of the level for that last goddamn star
Man, you guys did an awesome job putting subtle hidden clues and foreshadowing for that ending. The whole time I had the odd feeling something was subtly wrong.
"Would you consider a small gold price reasonable for this type of action?"
Seriously? The biggest problem in this game is how pay-to-win is the main focus. The second biggest problem is how you need to micromanage it every ten minutes. I think making the huge problem bigger is a pretty bad way to fix the small problem.
I couldn't find anything about the exit password other than the fact that the first digit was 3. Rather than going through the level like a sensible person, I just tried every possible combination. For those who missed the puzzle like I did, the code is 3695.
Absolutely amazing. The realization with the Chicago tribune puzzle was one of the few moments I would call mind blowing. It opens up the puzzles so much, and makes the game seem so much larger and, well, REAL. Brilliantly done.
"Damn, we've filled this entire valley with buildings, if we want to expand we'll need to colonize another planet!"
"But sir, couldn't we just put another colony past that mountain?"
"What a ridiculous suggestion! Clearly it's more efficient to send a very slow colonial ship to a new planet with minimal access to our now-massive supply of resources!"
