I gotta admit, though the gameplay is great, the thing that sold me was the music. It applies just the right amount of tension and action style. Also, part of it that helps up the tension is that part of it seems like the music is playing backwards, which is pleasantly unnerving. Well done to you and your music master.
I enjoy the new layout, though it did take a little getting used to, however, there are two problems. One, the loot button to see all lootable objects has gone missing, which many people are asking for. Two, the search button is gone, and now the info is automatically added to the journal, which is all well and good, but how can the info help us if we don't get to see what it is without trawling through the mountains of data we acquire over time?
I really was not expecting the emotional impact this game would have. A both happy and sad ending, and one that is shockingly powerful. *sniff* I'M NOT CRYING!
It's like a dorky version of bill nye fused with a less hardcore version of Super Meat Boy. There is only one word for a game this good: SCIENCETASTIC!
There's something oddly freeing about about having your tires popped, because then most of the time when you hit stuff it's not your fault, and spike strips are meaningless. It is odd that oil slicks are still a problem though.
Oh Psionic, you never fail to give me a suspense induced heart attack. You are a master at the creepy atmosphere, and your games are always fun(if I can finish them without fear-quitting) and usually creative. Thanks for this latest heart attack.
I love getting my hands on an alpha game because, although rough and usually glitchy(not this one, well done on that), you can really see the heart of the developer in it, and you can imagine what an amazing game it could be. You have clearly been working hard on this game, and I have to say, it's amazing. It runs really really well, especially since it's a 3D game, and procedurally generated. All in all it's a great game, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished project.
Some boosts and rewards can take your stamina or energy higher than it's total. You're welcome! :)
