Knockback shouldn't push things out of the Tower's range. It gets really slow and boring when I raise offensive chance %, because air goes up and level progression slows to a crawl.

I'm liking this a bit more than the first one, well done! I feel like the sp should scale individually. Right now, if I upgrade one ascension skill, the others cost more too. It's harsh and makes some of them rather useless, like start with $50 (in return for making everything else cost more). I also think it'd be better if it would start with $1000 and scale by x10... you know, to give you a faster start. SP also seems weird, it was like: 10pts, 11pts, 19pts 47pts. Maybe it's needed to properly scale multiple ascensions, but it just seems brutal for the first. Still haven't officially ascended @ 1Qn earned, which would get me 20% faster workers.

Shouldn't the dps on Gauss be twice as high, because it hits two ships? AoE damage is factored into dps for the other guns. Is the dps kept lower to keep them comparable in offline calculations?

At about 380 there's an efficiency jump that changes things up. Currently I'm at level 3,000 with 10,000 levels waiting to be claimed. Making 1 or 3 Vanadinite Mail @ 14.6s, Energy enchant @ 8s, and Very Expensive @ 8s. The Vanadinite Mail is still stacking up due to criticals and the mining/smelting never stops. Very fun game because the bottlenecks change around and you have to keep re-assessing.

A few tips. Raise the mining button and spam click it once in awhile to fill up on ores. Raise critical mining and power mining so it won't matter so much that mining is slower. Those two become more useful than touching mining speed for awhile. Finally, there are jumps in efficiency: at about 385 auto mining it becomes +13k per level.

When choosing your next class it'd help to be able to mouse-over the skills and see their description. I also don't see any way to go back to the title so I can load a saved game (which I do so I can test skills)... reloading is a bit annoying due to the size of the game.

Just beat the Crystal Golem on epic difficulty, which actually made me step back and try to be a smart gamer. Debuffs, multi-hit skills, elemental specs and turn order. Didn't use any items except mp potions. The game really is epic on epic difficulty (and well balanced), I love it.

Testing on the mini-boss in 24 and Splash is a bit weird. Plasma kills the min-boss faster with Splash on, but the laser and bullet guns kill it slower with Splash. I time it based on what attack he is doing when he dies, seems consistent.

Hmm Plasma + Splash and healing bomb can tear through Atropos too. Just focus on shooting the green orbs once the first arm falls off.

Testing on Hyperion, I'm seeing plasma + splash doing the most damage. With full upgrades and anti-matter bombs he dies in under a minute.

Forcing you to equip an item before enhancing could be a balance mechanic. If there was no required equipping, you could just apex forge an item to tier 100 and then spirit guide it so anyone could equip it.

The diamond challenges are great. I had a blast getting it done for 11. I started it off wondering how you could ever get to the SW switch and back in 12 moves and of course the answer was Taylor with the shotty, there and back in 8 or 9.

I don't get it... in mission 8 I left Farro outside the elevator, but the "left behind" was still zero and I got diamond, plus the challenge badge. How is left behind supposed to work?

I was thinking nodes being fought over should have a contested state. It could be done a few ways, like one side needs to stock the node with +X before it becomes theirs. So if you lose a node and it's being fought over, no one can control it until someone gets the upper hand.

What did you change for absurd mode? I noticed the comp was a little better at mounting a quick defense, but other than that it felt fairly similar to hard. Any AI upgrades are great. I like the timed HS improvement.

You are right, absurd mode is currently not that absurd if you understood how the AI is working. I will test some other AI settings to make the mode a little less predictable.
