If you didn't click the Save my progress box after finishing level 10, just finish level 11 and click the box. It's an easy level. Just don't forget to click it, the badge will pop,
Managed to get through level 15 by going through as fast as I could after several tries, but that is a bit of an issue. Apart from that, another great, simple game by Bart Bonte, keep it up!
Level 15 seems too unstable. Not sure what's wrong, but I've tried clicking in so many different ways, clicking on the arrows, in the fields around the arrows, but it would randomly reset. I know the sequence, and would follow it, but the whole thing would reset in some random way. I could go like 10 spots before it reset, then I'd go 3 spots in the same path only for it to reset, then go like 6 spots, etc.
Punishing the game developer for a Kong problem won't solve anything. Don't rate the game down with a one star rating, just keep reporting the missing badge. Remember, Greg's team deals with badges, not m0rkeulv, the game dev.
Really, the only fault I can find in this game is how laggy it can get. I can manage even on a trackpad, but it could take several clicks just to register that I'm clicking before it releases or attaches to nodes. Simple, very clever and fun, but oddly process intensive for a light graphics game.
Two main tips: First, don't let an enemy microbe simply overwhelm any of your attacking microbes. Cut the lines and abandon the microbe if it can't be defended. Any material being sent out simply gets converted and boosts the numbers for the attacker as it gets pulled back in. On the flip side, the second tip is always aim for the enemy microbes that are attacking in 2 or more directions. Time it so when you attack from an undefended flank, cut the line and let the stream capture the enemy, so you also collect all the material from the attacking lines. With more numbers and bigger attacks, you'll win faster and get a bigger score.
And on that note, if there's a rank requirement for not using a letter until you reach a height (like not using the letter E until 4k meters), just go up the list and ignore words with that letter. Also, just End Game and Play to reset the letters, instead of waiting after starting to Scramble.
With that, I was able to quickly and easily reach the 16k meters needed as the highest rank requirement by height. You should also keep watching for the letter bubbles, cause they increase your multiplier faster, letting you reach 16k+ much more quickly. Just do a find on page for that letter and hope its in the list.
I found that http://www.wordfind.com is a good way to go. For prefixes (first 3 letters) go to http://www.wordfind.com/starts-with/ and add the 3 letters after the slash. For suffixes (last 3 letters), try http://www.wordfind.com/ends-with/ with the 3 letters. Then just click the link for the 3, 4 or 5 letter words containing that pre/suffix. Also, the timer doesn't start until after you hit Enter after typing the first word, so take your time preparing. Finally, combos only go to x20, after that, the letters change, so change the last 3 letters in the link appropriately.
If this game gets badges for beating the game, can it be a retroactive awarding, please? Don't force us completionists to suffer CrossCrossCross again X_X
While the in-game achievements are nice, the XP earned seems to have no purpose. Here's an idea: At the end of the launch, along with tallying up the cash earnings from height, distance and destruction, add in the amount from collecting coins, then give a bonus to the total earned, according to how much experience you've earned, with the potential of +%100 or double earnings if you have max exp. Finally, add in another High Score value, Most Coins (Single Launch).
Anything worth doing is worth doing well, especially if it's going to take a long time. I sense a bit of Fallout and Fallout 2 influence in this, which ought to make things interesting. Let the adventure begin!
The true drive is for her to overcome her fear, not to just keep running and running forever. She has to see that she is capable of rising to all the challenges she faces, gaining the confidence she needs to know that death should not be feared. Once she accomplishes all her goals, she'll be free. That's why all medals have to be obtained to win and defeat death. Would've been nice if Sweet Dreams was a Hard badge, but it's not that challenging.
Instruction Page: Enter a fight, check the top right, under Walththrough, click the ? button. That's the Instruction page. Now does this game seriously have to be so buggy and imbalanced? Horrible AI for both parties, rolling is practically a random chance thing, since it doesn't always respond on double taps and enemies can suddenly turn invulnerable, making finishing a mission/campaign impossible. Nice game concept, I'm enjoying it, but this only earns 3/5 for basically being incomplete.
"You just won the Get on Your High Horse Badge" Interestingly enough, making the game lag moderately helped with allowing Hippolyta time to catch up with the commands, so set to High Quality and run a few things in the background.
Great reflex game, but it can be quite frustrating, pushing for the impossible badge, seeing that it IS impossible because of the annoying problem of stacking commands... so often smacking into a tree branch simply because you can't duck immediately after blocking or jumping, or not able to throw a javelin in time because you're still jumping over the hoplite or recovering from blocking a duelist before reaching the basic farmer. With enough time for Hippolyta to respond, it'd be fine, but the Amazon Warrior can't even respond as fast as a gamer.
Wow, that was a stupid bug. First trying to play, I could only match one line, or one series of combos, but every round after, I'd only get "No Match." Even the opponent got stuck with that after the first round. The game started working after I refreshed completely, so if someone gets glitched like that, try refreshing, and complain about Mochi's glitched game, lol.
