the dendroid was such a helpful unit. minotaur den? dendroid. enemy knights inbound? dendroid. It came to an end in year 41 to a lot of hydras. after it died, tigers came out of nowhere and slaughtered the injured hydra and their spawn. Of course, the next day we were trampled by some knights that manned up with my dendroid gone.
to be honest, I liked the original. I truly did. This? No. Just no. I like sequels, not dumbed down versions that have inferior art and length from the first. The first has a decent tone to it. This style makes me wonder if I'm playing a Nick Jr version of a game rather than a sequel.
Love it. To be honest I only caught wind of it's existence because a had an urge to play the other two, then was overjoyed to a see a third. Fantastic story, great plot that kept me guessing until the end, and enough endings for me to have invested several hours just to get half of them. A enjoyable ride for fans of the series, and a great introduction for anyone new to it 5/5, I love this developer's work all around.
I have enjoyed the game several times since I discovered it years ago. First launcher game I played actually. Anyways, no matter how many times I play, I can not understand how a country with naturally forming coins in the air, can only spare 50 bucks for a space program. I guess with all those coins they had a gambling problem. Either that, or a sugar glider conspiracy.
I beat the dragon without divine edge. My tips for playing this game are 1) use elixirs sparingly, keep in mind that armor upgrades restore your health fully. 2) don't by divine edge, maybe you should at some point if you're planning on full playthrough, but if your goal is that dragon, the edge is just a money sapper, an elixir keeps you alive longer to dish out damage. 3) feel free to skip some of the shrines, unless you're below 50%, you really don't need them.
I'm sure there are plenty of valid strategies out there, but this was what I did.
in all honesty, I just did this to work towards another shiny, while getting some powerup rewards while I was at it. If the badge wasn't there, I would not have spent of fraction of the time I spent playing this.
