I really like the civilizations wars games but this just isn't fun. Everything is somewhat unresponsive. Un-fun monsters change the game from strategy to making sure you click the enemy's buildings when there isn't a monster there. No easy way to attack across your towers without drawing units from those towers. 3/5 because I liked the old ones.
2/5 because of gambling being both required and boring. Make it dramatically faster (no time between spins) or allow players to buy eyes/gems. Would've been 5/5 otherwise.
How to win the game:
1. Get turret upgrade
2. Don't move your guy from the center
3. Let your turret kill things
4. You are invincible if you haven't moved - your health drops to 0 but you aren't teleported to upgrade area
5. Profit
To those trying to beat the boss - put a couple points into movement speed or buy the movement speed ring. Then when you see him teleporting in, you have time to move away before he gets a hit in. I beat the game by going staff and mostly Aqua, also getting the hp/defense/evade skills from the other trees. Fun game!
Every time I switch screens I get doors shut in my face for 4 seconds. It's annoying and the load times shouldn't be necessary for a relatively simple game.
When the doors are shut the game prepares the graphics, believe me, it's not like we have a timer to keep them shut and force players to stare at the logo ;)
King is attacked by desert, ice, and evil wasteland kings who are his friends, so he goes and gets his sword which is completely useless since all war is fought with cannons and people carrying bombs
A really fun game! Some updates I'd like to see: several options for heal priority (right now healers will top up a tank's HP by 40 when another character is at 10% health), ability to unequip items/skillbooks, a buff for archers (their attack animation is incredibly slow / they do almost nothing on farming levels and less DPS than warriors all around), a fix on multi-shot (often doesn't proc if an enemy dies before arrows hit), some descriptions about how multiple books stack
Thanks for the suggestions and I'm glad you like the game! BUT! you can already unequip items! There's a tiny x to the top right of equipment and skills when you equip them, click it to unequip them. I should probably make that more easily visible.
Here's how to beat it on highest difficulty: Keep risk of attack at about 10%. Unless you're going to other upgrades, don't invest in food tech lines other than animal husbandry - they aren't nearly as good. Don't upgrade strength unless it feeds to something non-strength - you'll get plenty of strength through barracks, or the +10%'s you get from winning a fight. All you really want to upgrade is food and population, since population gives you passive +production and +culture. Try to save some points if you're 10-20 turns from the next age. Good luck!
Could you make it clearer how to use armor? I have it sitting in my inventory, but my guy still is wearing a blue shirt and I get one-shotted by enemies that do 100 damage
if you're told to fight some "enraged orcs" and you can't get through - you have to go through the sewers in the underground which is the area with all the quest givers one screen back in the southwest. Go through the sewers then through the exit to the E of the sewers and you can continue the game. Hopefully creator will make something a smidgeon more obvious
It's a great game! I love the feel where you start out playing defensively and avoiding aliens, but are eventually able to kill them left and right. A couple things I'd recommend: make toggles to automatically salvage tiles, automatically intercept non-boss enemies, automatically harvest berries/wood/take down mountains on the max time / minimum resources option. I'd also love to see a plot!
The earth's total population is roughly 7 billion, so since you can get over 7B angel investors I'm going to assume that your investors are literally angels who are investing in your company. That puts the maximum number of angel investors at 107 billion (number of people that have ever lived, assuming everybody goes to heaven). After that we will need to start gathering investments from the spirits of dead aliens (I guess the creators of this game are scientologists).
The best monster to fight is always the one you can 1-hit kill. You'll get only a little bit less gold, and gems are incredibly important in this game (they can multiply your damage, increase gold income, etc.)
I far preferred the first two - you added all sorts of unnecessary features used by the mediocre MMOs that gunk up sites like this. The older two games were straightforward campaigns ending with a fun boss - now you have to grind through 10 (I think) levels doing the same thing over and over
How to get lots of money: don't level the gravity skill. Play until you have some stink potions and ideally something besides starter sled. Focus only on taking jumps and doing turns. Each time you get 25 coins times your bonus which goes up by each turn. Once you get to past 500 coins per 180, start chugging potions whenever you're hurt (keep buying more). Once you get to 2k-3k coins per turn, keep a stink potion on at all times. You should be able to get 2M coins in 1 run this way!
Thanks for the vote! if you keep the number of bricks below 120 it speeds up. Up to 3x speed at 40 bricks.
