Could really use an option to zoom better, the constant screen drift and tight zoom on the menu makes it really hard to target enemies that are attacking you from offscreen (away from menu bubble).
I feel hugely insulted by the little engineer guy when he tells me how great the 2 weapon ships are, then I check, and I'm 8 levels away from being able to buy one. This is by far the worst notebook war game made.
With animals this aggressive, I don't think the visitor needs to kill the humans, just wander off for ten minutes and every human in this camp should already be eaten by turtles and birds.
moderately decent game that's gone to heck due to overabundance of intrusive, spammy advertising for ... of all things... ITSELF. Has turned it from a 3 to 4 star game, into a 1 star game.
Easiest way to win: Buy a small sucker ASAP. Upgrade Money Skill to 4 or 5. Always sell old equipment (except the reward sword). Get 3 shotguns ASAP, then upgrade them to multiguns. Final payload: Math Chip Z-2, Armor Plate X-2, Extra Stabalizer (two of them), 3 Multiguns, and an Extra Sucker if you really feel the need for more money (or swap in a 4th multigun). Finally, spend the rest of your skills on health. All other skills are a total waste.
Would be a great game, but the controls stop responding so smoothly after a few levels, and suddenly easy tasks become insanely difficult. So when levels start getting harder, you feel less and less accomplished and more like it's dumb luck if your guy will do what you tell him.
Quick! Deploy LAG POWERS of sending in a bunch of troops before they can build defenses, it's the only way we monsters can win in this unbalanced game!
Upgrade to 1 star mana regen ASAP. Use secondary missions to obtain new units and gear (for free). Using pirates (Arr) and gun swords as my only unit being summoned, I've only even come close to losing mission 4, where I spammed poison attack to finish it (using the "hard" mode guy). You should have no trouble beating mission 4 ;)
Buggy at parts, lost my pet because the game auto-saved that I killed the rare enemy, but not that it gave me the pet, so when started again, had no pet -_-
Having found a youtube of the ending (with the fruit, since I did it without), it looks like the big difference is that with the fruit, the other people at the beginning don't call you a weakling anymore, while without, they're still jerks. The game seems to expect that if you take the good ending, you get the fruit. Other than that, there is no notable difference that I saw between my playthrough and the fruit-taken ending.
