What the heck? How does this amazing game have a 3.5 rating while various idle and mmo garbage have ratings over 4.3? What is wrong with people, this game is a real geM!
Laggy and resource intensive. A platformer with 20 year old graphics shouldn't lag on modern computers. Hell, this shouldn't lag on calculators! Nice idea and story, but very badly programmed. Also, game crashed after the "Rock" monster, and now all my progress is lost? No thank you, 1/5
Got the hard badge. Should be impossible. Nice concept, nice level design, horrible physics. The physics seem to be frame rate dependent: sometimes you will glitch through a thin wall, sometimes you won't jump as high as normally if the game lags for an instant during the jump. If you want a game that depends on microsecond reaction and on pixel jumps (like Meatboy), you need to make it stable, robust, and without bugs. 5/5 for the novelty and design, 1/5 for the implementation, the annoying music, white flashes, and having to click the X between levels. Overall, 3/5
Thanks for the hint, Experagamestudio! I thought that dialogue was just concerning the normal monster in that area. Anyway, the secret room was worth it, and it was worth playing through the prologue again as well for the words of power. Can't wait for the next game! I will not buy this record, it is scratched!
Here we are for you! HINT: 1. the secret room won't appear using the detector - it's the ONLY element you should pixel-hunt for; 2. there is one person within the village who knows about such room, and you'll need to speak with such person to reach the room :D
Another amazing game, ExperaGameStudio! 5/7! Cool references, good puzzles, interesting dialogues. I'll suggest 2 things, though: 1. Maybe slightly smaller pixels? I played most of the LucasArts games, and they didn't look this pixelated because we had smaller monitors and resolutions at the time. I think you should go with slightly smaller pixels to make the game look a bit better, and you'd still have the old look. 2. An option to skip the minigames after a few (maybe 5) failed attempts. I've seen it in other games and it seems like a good compromise to keep them for those who like them, and not to frustrate the ones who don't too much. Also, greetings from Croatia :D
@Bored5555 Your solution worked for me! Tried both on, crash. Sound off, music on - crash. Sound on, music off - NO crash! I won't be trying both off for now as I'm eager to finish the game and find the secret room.
OK, this is one of those games that greatly contributes to carpal tunnel syndrome. It could have easily been solved with autofire. Sorry, I can't give more than 3 stars to games that physically hurt you after 10 minutes of playing.
Hi. I have finished the next part of Abandoned. It's not Abandoned 2, but spin-off. Some bridge between 1st and 2nd part. Hope you'll like it. http://www.kongregate.com/games/krutovigor/abandoned-the-cube-chambers/
You're coming in in the middle of the war. Read the story to figure out what the war is about, and try an earlier level, like the first, to learn to fly and fignt.
Thank you! We hope the next time we'll have less technical issues maybe XD
