Great game. Did a few rounds on normal, and it seems hut spamming with russia is the way to go. As for religion, the miner branch was great with its damage reduction, and its scroll is basically "skip 1 battle for free", working wonders in later levels. As for the higher tier units, I think grabbing a few minotaurs are the most cost effecient way. (packs a punch and usually survives battles) Just one thing, always have an abundance of swordsmen. around 30~40 near endgame sounds good.
5/5 favorite right off the bat. My only complaint is that I'd like to see the accurate stats of units so I know what I'm getting off my upgrades or exactly how much 15 damage means.
1.new loots was good idea, but I think it needs more balancing. right now only the health rings scale with process, and I found little incentive to carry anything but health rings. as was before, spells aren't fantastically useful as well, everything except polymorph works better converted to life. 2.some people mentioned this, but the assasin is too powerful right now. 3.OPTION TO DIE!! I had to actively seek death (boring and time consuming) when I wanted to quit so that I would keep my money.
definately needs more things you can do with money. simply increasing speed/power/money at a dull pace of 1->2->3 is pretty dull. for example, a buyable ramming part, life regen, or different types of missles etc would make the game much more interesting. oh, and by the way, I think it would be more satisfying if achievements had some sort of reward.
tip for golden leaf challenges: use pause a lot! you can give directions to plants while in pause and even use spells! gives you a real edge on the harder levels
Retailation: when this ship (or base) is damaged by another ship, it does damage to that ship equal to the retailation damage. Cloaked: this ship can't be affected by abilities/actions. Even ignores "deal damage to all" and the sort.
