Got to 1000m on RED, and it's still all the same. Once you get the candy drill don't even bother upgrading, just quit the game and don't waste any more time.
--Skill trees:
-During leveling, upgrade only Attack. Monsters around level 65 hurt no matter what and may bypass a high defense altogether using elemental attacks, so in general the best defense is to kill them quickly.
-Except for an early 3 points to grab Heal, the magic tree is the least important. Elemental attacks and Telekinesis aren't worth the SP and Transmutation is useless if you are running the whole cave at once (otherwise it is a necessity). The Reveal spell becomes useful around 70-80 when finding the shortest path becomes more and more crucial.
-Grab all the Potion Efficiency upgrades on the alchemy tree; this also increases the strength of enchantments, most importantly HP regen. Item drop % also will increase potion drop rate.
-With the Warrior tree, focus on atk/crit-- bother less with Def, and ignore XP boost.
--Plan to use the escape wings only once around level 15-25 when you are forced to. Then grab the obsidian shield from the shady merchant by the inn and run the cave again in its entirety from 1-80. The idea is to overwhelm the boss with an endless stock of potions gathered over all 80 levels.
--HP regen is an absolute must- get as many of these enchantments as possible. Replace these with MP regen in the later levels whenever possible (fractal cabbages).
--Buy every potion from every merchant and kill all monsters on each floor as long as they don't give you too much trouble-- you need as much XP and access to loot as possible.
--Before the boss make sure you have gear with Bleeding/Decimate enchantments (bloodthorn, heart of darkness)-- these are highly effective on the boss while HP/MP regen becomes useless. The last forge is on level 75.
Hacking 1: Fiddle around with the ATM computer a bit and draw a few hundred dollar bills
Hacking 2: Get some John Connor Pin hacking equipment and draw a few hundred more
Hacking 3: Kick the ATM and watch money fall out
Lol
Awesome game, well thought out, excellent graphics, excellent combat system, creative enemies. If I had to give one suggestion, I think that the inventory would be much easier to use if the equipped and unequipped items were separated from each other, for instance, if all the equipped items appeared at the top of the inventory screen, instead of scattered throughout. Other than that, an enthusiastic 5/5 from me
@HommPL Let me ask you, and all other badge whores out there: what do you plan to do with the points that you win from badges? Show off to your friends? Trade them in for cash? One great thing about this game is the steep learning curve. By the time anyone has gained enough experience to win the badges, they have already played enough to play for fun
@therakau outside of your arena deck you cannot increase your stats. non-arena matches are all played with 100hp 60 max cards, 1xmark etc. And why would you want a 60 card deck anyway? 30 card decks have proven to be generally most effective
@demonknightlord- The Ice Bolt spell has a chance to freeze the weapon when it affects a creature, so one your creatures was Icebolted by Pandemonium, and in turn, froze your weapon.
@EJGate- A bug in the coding causes Purple Nymphs on average to appear in the spin around twice as frequently as the other nymphs. Not that people mind, Purple nymphs are widely considered to be one of the strongest of all the nymphs
Elements is a very difficult game to pick up, for beginners at least. That's where all the 1 stars come from, trust me, if only veteran players were allowed to rate elements would be #1 game
To those of you who are wondering, the 50% achievement award is the battle axe and the 75% award is the barret sniper rifle, HOWEVER they are not the best weps in the game for their categories. There is a Sharpened Katana that beats battle axe at 52 damage, and a Military M24 that beats the ultra-sniper at 65 damage a shot, but uses the far more common 7.62mm round instead of the rare 50 calibur shots needed by the Barret
In case you miss the message above, there is a "Hide Equipped" button below the inventory to help remove some clutter :)
