doesnt always register the click. I often had to click 3-6 times for the fps to increase. When i saw the title i was also expecting a First Person Shooter challenge... oh well.
Seriously the cut-scenes made this game! the game play was alright but for someone that is a fire emblem and advance wars fanatic, the difficulty was on a 6 year-old's level. Unlimited range on all ranged skills is extremely broken. I was sending my guys out by themselves just to finish the dungeon faster.
TMP is a good weapon but by the end the chainsaw and RPG are king and queen. There are a few levels that you can stand at a corner and let all the zombies simply walk into your saw.
well... made it to 120 easy. railguns are nice, but crowd control towers like the radar and laser are needed as well as a bunch of inverters to slow the bosses.
only way to beat turkey is to use the hypnosis tower on the gryphons. when the archers come just let them through. there is no penalty to letting a few get past. after archers you should start on the wall of mages but always keep enough mana for a hypnosis tower.
I ran a different strategy making it to lvl 22. This build is centered around utilizing the effectiveness of criticals by maximizing bullet coverage. Lvl generally in this order: Burst, Shockwave, Critical, Firerate, Siege, Splittershell, Pierce. DO NOT UPGRADE ACCURACY. I noticed that whereas the enemies can continuously get stronger, your attack is maxed at 8 and your field of fire is also reduced by ACC, thus hampering your effectiveness. IMO Accuracy is a harmful skill! Killing the enemy with criticals is much more effective than constant shooting down healthbars.
i find that i am doing the same I-E formation for every battle... its a nice twist on TD but there just isnt much to do once you get a workable formula.
Only have two problems with the game. the keys K + L cause me a great deal of trouble, I would prefer DFGHJ instead. Second is on keyboard mode when you hold down a key for too long it causes a huge drop in health (is that what you would call it?) because it registers multiple key strokes. This causes me to lose just because I missed an extended note.
