Strange, I thought the dagger was easiest, sword medium and staff hardest. Staff is unusable until you get the pierce tech. With the dagger you can run right through the pack and just swing away and take no damage.
Having done some work in the loans department, it was fun seeing how similar this was. Often times it really is that easy determining if it is good or bad.

There is an exploit in war. The Guide says you get back half of your weapons. That half is how much you started with, not how much you have left. If you take 100k and only lose 10k you will end up with 140k. Free weapons all around.
There is a stability issue tied directly to the order of buildings. Because Car factory and Toolmakers affect the food production directly they need to be buildings 2 & 3. Because workers go to the Woodcutters and Medicine instead, population levels don't just fluctuate, they crash.
