ayuh.... how can I play this game when I can't stand to listen to the song?! SCGMD had songs that were, if not always pleasant, didn't make me want to scream.
Ah Apple is online - Suggested improvements: 1: Button or Hotkey for shipyard (currently unavailable if shipyard is upgrading). 2: A button in the shipyard that jumps you to current fleet location. 3: Improve category system so that planet is named by galaxy and solar system - there are many "Planet 1"s. 4: The Shipyard Speed Up button should be a one-click system. 5: Remove the alert in the "Extras" screen that tells me how much I spent, I already know. 6: The Water minigame should be slowed down, I practically beat it in two days, just need the Mouse-click achievement.
Your doing a great Job with the game and updates Apple, us gamers really appreciate it!
hmm.... with 37 (74/2) days worth of time needed to go from level 15 to max level, the tip of not building more than the Direct Max number of buildings is highly suspect. Even if I used the speed ups, I would need a large amount of buildings just to fund the 500 billion needed.
can you really classify this as rogue game? The end game rune buff only lasts one game. If you die on a lower level then your previous game you will have even less then before. I really like the game, but contending that rogue qualification.
The hardest feature so far to work with is the inability to target heal a soldier in the midst of a melee. There are simply too many health bars to see which one to heal. A click-able unit box along the bottom would be extremely helpful
@JDCompany: This game doesn't need upgrades. You probably havn't gotten far enough to see the special towers. Upgrades do nothing if the enemy gets upgraded too. It's the AI that makes a game like this good, and this is the best AI I have seen.
Having beaten the game before the difficulty patch, I can say it is indeed quite hard (hardest i've played of this type) but doable with proper tactics. #1 Use the AI against itself. It won't attack a defended planet so bait it with an undefended one that you can fortify before it arrives. #2 The greater the ratio of ally/enemy the faster the weaker fleet is destroyed so always attack with greater forces and retreat where you are weak. #3 Take a clue from the AI and send your new ships to the front as they are made, those 2 extra ships do make a difference. #4 If you don't have enough forces to capture a planet, still send 10 or so to stop that planets production. 5# Especially in the last few levels, it is more important to capture enemy planets and disrupt production than to defend what you have. #5 In the last levels always keep a small guard on your starbases. This will save a lot of grief.
Not exactly. Btw try the 2.0 version here: runami.com, kong version coming soon
