Anticipation: agreed, a way to play a specific player is definatly needed. If not a private host than perhaps a challenge option?
Kilgore: While luck plays a part it is only about 10% or less. While it makes it harder, a good player can overcome a random crit or miss without too much trouble. If you are having trouble rethink your deck and/or your mind-reading skills. After all, the luck goes both ways.
Really nice game. Like Starfighter galaxy but with more ships and less options. Simpler like that. I don't know how to beat the higher levels though... Around lvl 7 I am usually the last one left against 20 ships.
We could use a small improvement in the interface(right word?) For example, a ranking page to see how you rank. Also, the status info of your opponent when you join a game. Currently, there is no way to see who is the best, except for word of mouth.
Tafari needs a revamp of moves.
1. Poison Darts: This is his only direct attack. It only does weak dark damage; practically useless against vampires and not very good against anyone else.
2. Leaf Trap: Only two Oni and Ashi (as far as I know) use only physical close-range attacks. Everyone else has a ranged attack of some sort meaning a free attack against him while he sets the trap. Furthermore, almost all have an elemental attack of some sort.
3. Hide: Gives 30% dodge rate for ONE turn. That makes it useless to use on its own. Also it is necessary to activate before you can use ambush - a neon warning sign.
4. Ambush: Though powerful, is impossible to use against an experienced player. Ambush takes two turns to use and can only hit at close range. These are all the conditions necessary just to ambush your opponent: 1. You must be at close-range. 2. You must have 80+ energy. 3. Your enemy must take his energy below 30 the same turn you hide. 4. Switching-in is impossible unless the enemy is at zero energy.
All of that to get 65 damage. Only 7 more than the most powerful single strike (I believe) such as Pheobe's Power Slash or Anex's Power Toss.
I actually use this guy a lot, but only to set the trap and then switch out.
game keeps freezing on me... I can still do everything, and things are moving but the screen won't scroll anymore. Seems like a fun game, if I can only get past 2 minutes of it.
nice concept but little replayability. 3/5. Also you keep gaining more even after the meter is full. You should re-adjust it to show the max you can take without dying.
ok, heres the deal. You cannot get both badges in one playthrough!!
The queen will only die once if you replay the last scene instead of playing twice.
I am glad this is a prototype. Idea was great, but execution needs work. Transition between screent and overall gameplay is too slow. AI is poor. No real challenge.
Good game that was half-baked. cook it all the way and it will be sweet.
good puzzler. The target needs to show the minimum amount of moves needed, not just the expected amount according to lvl. In Medium there was a few target 7s that I beat in 1 move.
4/5
