The lack of range is nonsensical, should be able to shoot a lot farther than can move in a turn. Would be nice to be able to switch soldiers before completing an action rather than being forced to use whoever you look at first. There should be an action 'guard' or the like to prepare a shot if a target moves into line of sight on their turn (only available like aim, if you don't do a lot else, and doesn't work if unit becomes stunned).

Have to agree with complaints about the difficulty curve. You start off so weak in even medium that it's a struggle to do anything at all much less stay alive.

Very nice update. The graphics are fun. The new variety of cards is good to have. Unfortunately the status bar is a lot harder to read.

It would be nice to have even one more weapon slot. Ammo runs out too quick to be limited to only one weapon beyond melee. Final scene was a good medium of not too easy but not impossibly difficult.

Nice starting point, the story idea is okay and the base character stats are interesting, but gameplay is terminally boring.

Issues: The AI has a tendency to throw away small numbers of troops against forces they can't hope to affect much less defeat. Some maps require that the computer take a certain route of conquest or it's impossible to get the award for capturing the whole map, this can be a bit frustrating as just waiting doesn't always get them to do it.

The supposed ability to control units during a fight is inconsistent at best, and often frustrating when I want them to do something specific. Units do not always respond when given commands and sometimes even just stand still while being attacked. This becomes very important when fighting heavily fortified locations that just repair to full if not completely destroyed. Also, Forest Forts are bugged. When captured their structures merge, using one icon with the other name... Very good overall.

The "can't hurt it from the front" ship is a pain. If you don't happen to have gone a route that gives you an indirect attack you're completely stuck. Difficult because of choices sure, but no situation should be 100% fail without warning.

The components are very difficult to place accurately and when trying to select them it's hard to get the piece actually intended or to have it actually stay where you put it. This makes the Ship Builder stage rather frustrating at times.
