The regen skill is the most important one, if you played the previous games before you should know. Regen breaks freeze and heals every turn while Viking clothes gives 50% freeze resistance. Regen also allows you get to free up natalie to attack.
Since this is an rpg. The most basic strategy against bosses is to level up and attack its weakness and defend yourself. this is extremely important if you are playing epic, since most of the strategies others listed will not work in epic.
Non-bosses that has resistance can be syphon. it just have a very low chance. never had any chance achievng it with lance's syphon skill but if you use the unleashes with syphon weapons it works. the best is to have matt use legend with rune sword = 8 hits = 8 chances to syphon. even the end game non-bosses like the cosmic monolith and bone dragons can be syphon. syphoned monoliths = statues doing nothing.
to do 100,000 to a foe, when you are lvl 20+ go back to outside town and do a limit break on the green bush. and if you have kyun do that too. I managed to get 300k dmg at lvl 30 using nuke/kyun combo against green bush which is weak against fire(nuke). Medals and beastiary gets updated even if you reload or die, so its best to scan the boss, die and come back.
Things that break freeze. eating something, healing, getting hit(sometimes)
so if you have slime bunny on, you will break out of freeze at the end of the round. but that is available if you are lvl 15 or 20. its best to unlock all skills instead of spending points on one. because some skills need to be unlock either by lower level skills or char level.
If you cant find the materials, either buy them or wait for them to drop in later difficulties.
The end game materials are very rare though, because it takes a lot of time to kill the mobs.
clicking the boobs medals seem to only work during the storyline like after you kill a boss and the story appears. the slime medal, when you click play, after that, i think instead of clicking skip you are supposed to click anywhere else on the screen, thats how I got mine. tha final secret should be 50 medals instead of 60, cause theres no way I'm going to spend hours playing the mini-games, and I suck at them.
Why sea/air battles are so hard? that's because your air to sea attacks can miss, while the enemy doesn't and the enemy's units are superior to yours. Unbalanced. Fun after I I did the save and load trick to get free poin.
