I'd love to see what this game was supposed to have been. Whatever this thing is, looks like they were half way through development and then the entire team was replaced by one offshore guy who was given a week to ship it.
Seems like things slow down a whole lot when you're working on favors 9-16. I could spend 4 on retaining assistants, but that doesn't sound like it will speed things up until you have share automation.
What am I missing here? Been playing for an hour and all I've done is grind sand beetles. 20 shells? That's going to take all day. Still can't afford to buy the first piece of gear.
I found Temple and Sky frustratingly difficult at first but then ended up playing them through dozens of times. I hope to say the same about this one, but man, it seems like you're asking my brain to do things it just can't :)
Hmm, this was a lot less fun than I thought it would be. The levels just went on and on without much variation. I don't mind exploring if there's a reward, but it's got to be more than just another, similar level. Once I got to near the end of the campaign and completed a couple of trials I couldn't really find a compelling reason to keep playing.
Very well done, but the endless mechanical changes gets too tedious. You never feel like you've solved anything clever, or accomplished anything, only that the rules keep changing.
This was fun. I didn't realize that the answers to some of the puzzles were in plain sight until after solving them by trial and error. Should have done the tutorial first :D
This is a lot of fun, especially figuring out the puzzles the first time through. The spikes on level 13 frustrate me a bit, but whatever. It's still fun.
I'm really enjoying this game. After playing a couple dozen times, with sub 5-minute times and single-digit deaths, the slimes are my greatest source of annoyance.
This is pretty good, and the levels are just long enough to be challenging but not impossible, but the dialog...it loses it's charm very quickly and becomes obnoxious.
You can disable it anytime! the goal of the game is getting to the end, it isn't mandatory to get mocked by that sassy ghost :)
PAUSE -->MENU-->Dialogues(Off)-->CONTINUE
I never understood this game. What you can and can't eat, what causes you to speed up and slow down, and the jump mechanics just seem weird. I've tried it on and off over the years and always end up more frustrated than satisfied. Oh well. Appreciate the speedrun/badge advice.
I know it's counter to what make Nerdook games great, but dammit it would be nice if they'd let you kick butt for at least a little while instead of always one-upping your cards. Oooh, you just got a dragon? How cute, check out my armored dragon...
You're welcome!
