It looks like I'm the first to complete the game. Getting killed by off-screen guns kinda sucks - maybe try to expand the vision range or something? The gun on level 23 is too nasty - it looks like I'm the only person to get past it so far. Either give it an off-button somewhere on the left, or at least make that hallway wider or something? On level 25 there's no reason to go to the button on the left. Either it's a deliberate red-herring, or it's a bug and the button starts in the wrong state.
When your first-day blazon runs out your squad gets crippled and progress grinds to a halt. That's bad enough, but the worst part is the obnoxious developer with replying that that it's not pay-to-win and it's all fair because everyone has to pay the same amount if they want to keep playing beyond 24 hours. Although it's only a difference of 30x gold and 3x everything else, so I felt generous and gave the game a gold star. Erm, actually Kong rating stars are blue. I gave the game a blue star.
Walkthrough: Try taking or using everything you can click on. Then start using everything in inventory on everything.
Many of the "puzzles" in the game make no sense at all, starting with the first first task to shut off the smoke. So yeah, the walkthrough is to just blindly try everything until eventually you "win".
More suggestions: When a building is selected on the bottom, highlight all buildings of that type on the map to make them easy to find. Also highlight the resource types that building consumes and produces on the top-right to make them easier to spot. Less important, but nice to have: If I can't afford to buy that building type right now, maybe show an estimated time until I can afford it. When I hover a building on the map and I can't afford to upgrade it, maybe show estimated time until I can afford it. Partial resource shortages may raise issues with the time estimations - ideally time would be estimated factoring in the shortage % but it would be acceptable to calculate based on current output and allow the estimate jump wildly each time-tick.
Comments/suggestions: Advanced copper mine is missing. I haven't even used advanced stuff because running power cable for it looks very painful. Perhaps allow road/cable/pipes to run through the same square? I've unlocked all buildings, and Study Group is still offering to spend money there. Does buying more Study Group do anything? If not then you should remove upgrade&price at that point. Add WASD and arrows to move map.
I have never been able to get close to doing the "Fill the grid" task so far.... and I just realized it's because the game is *punishing* me for clearing rocks?!?! Please fix. Don't punish the player for upgrading the ax as clearing rocks aggressively.
Dear EVERY GAME DEVELOPER ON THE PLANET:
It's not 1962 and I don't want to play a game like I'm on a 110 baud modem. Don't display text o....n....e.... ....c....h....a....r....a....c....t....e....r.... ....a....t.... ....a.... ....t....i....m....e....
Please just display text all at once so I can read it at a natural rate.
Idle Colony was my quickest level, but constantly swapping the entire game out of sight to progress at a proper rate is a pretty bad game mechanic. I suggest scrapping the level and replacing it with something else.
UI improvements: The the Achievements and Challenges panels, it's annoying to have to hunt to find the ones you can claim. Those should always appear at the top of the list. All panels that scroll up/down should have a scroll bar available.
Suggestions/bugs: (1) When I sell an item, do not reset the selection-cursor back to the top-left. Leave it where it is (unless selling the last item in the list). (2) Dragging an inventory item to a different spot should swap the items. (3) When viewing character equipment and clicking to different character: do not reset inventory view to * (view all). (4) I think(?) the game allowed me to spend (waste) a stat point on a stat that was already at max. If a stat is max then remove the +stat button. (5) I still can't see the full map, and the map-zoom is worse than worthless. The +/- buttons just get in the way. Need to see full map. (6) Movement still sometimes fails to halt on hostile encounter. NOTE: In six out of six cases, it appears to be triggered when the next move after the battle steps through a doorway, by a previously unseen enemy on a square that was already mapped. (7) Don't auto-path step on a trap when there's a known alternate route that avoids the trap.
Please eliminate the slow character-by-character display of text. It's horribly annoying. Even back in the 1980's my dial-up 300 baud modem would display text at 30 characters per second. Just display of the full panel of text immediately.
1 star and block for spamming: "Medieval: Age of Honor (block) 2 hours ago I’m playing Medieval: Age of Honor on Kongregate and hope you will join me. Play Medieval: Age of Honor now"
BLOCK and 1 STAR RATING for spamming: "Iron Rage (block) 10 hours ago Join the tremendous battles of the Iron Rage world, we will stop the Dominion together! Join the battle -https://apps.facebook.com/iron_rage Play Iron Rage now"
There's a slight hole in the plot. The kidnapper demands a measly 5000 SFC, which they could mine themselves in under 17 minutes on their five supercomputers. LOL
Thanks for your feedback. We will check it out the levels 23 and 25 to see if we accidentally changed something.
