Ok, I've had enuf. I'm sick of restarting to try better combinations the game is just too pointless to put in that much time and effort. And yeah, just a couple archers go a long way, much further than any other combo that I wasted my time on.
This would be my favorite game if it weren't for the fact that the only way to finish in nightmare is to dump a bunch of money into SAS bucks. And now I can't even earn them (in miniscule increments) anymore. Oh well.
Not a bad game until I get up around the last few hamlets in hard mode and the game locks up. Also, things improved for me greatly once I figured out to stop wasting time and resources on the melee characters. Good game.
I came back later and the game worked OK, so I finished it. It was kind of easy, which can be refreshing sometimes, yeah, non-survivable firepower and boatloads of money, Yay!
Yep, from the start of level 2 my little dude runs straight over and gets killed no matter how much I bang on any buttons. With no reset or restart buttons it renders the game pretty much pointless.
Put in a couple hrs and suddenly I can no longer control my mech, it gets greased and reappears on a platform somewhere else and simply keeps running straight off the edge no stopping it. And at just about the time I started buying premium upgrades. I did get to level up to 9 before the program started got haywire. Oh well, it was fun enuf up until then. BTW, I never paid anything. I avoid pay or sample games like the plague.
Ok, topped out at lvl 28, using jackhammer. Kinda wish there were more levels. Fun game, especially once I got my direction of travel and direction of fire coordinated. Good game
Alright...level 23, all attributes maxed out, using the rocket launcher, and doing my best to keep gunning a path from shield to shield until I reduce the alien bugs in number enough that I can continually circle the arena while firing ahead and into the remaining crowd. Then GLITCH and restart and start over as I am unable to save. Also, would like a feature that would enable you to re-sell or recycle unwanted guns.
Cool game. Kinda buggy later on. Level 18, maxed out attributes and firearm... the music sounds like two metal songs playing simultaneously- all white noise. And now the program simply will not stop commendeering my dude, backing him into a corner until he's overrun. Oh well, ya find a game you can play and it bombs at the end. BTW, the gauss gun is one of the slowest and most useless guns. I stuck with the mean minigun until I got a few thousand from buying the rocket launcher. Even the plasma minigun was a little slower, except when reloading. Pick up a few attributes for faster shooting or reloading and things smooth out a bit. I'll give it 4 stars. The previous 17 levels were fun and challenging.
