...unless of course you enjoy going back and relentlessly replaying previous levels in order to farm higher settings, which isn't the end of the world or any thing.
The graphics are cool enuf. I wouldn't mind choosing to go on search missions tho as shooting out of the window is impossible 50% of the time. By the time your gun stops whipping around wildly, your position is over run. Of course your search party is mainly adept at getting wasted. So within about 10-15 min you no longer have enough crew remaining to make repairs, defend your position or there by sustain your game. & yeah, the fat ladies can sprint 75 yds. in less than 3 seconds. Go figure.
Fun game until you move to 'elite' level, at which time all progress stops unless you are fool enough to go on line and pay a butt-load of cash to finish playing this "free" game. Disappointing.
The game is ok right up to level 18 then just sucked, period. Tar towers are pretty much useless, that's all you get. @ 1/5 the dummies breech your outer wall, 2/5-3/5 they breech your last wall, then 4/5 they destroy your stupid towers and house end of game. Go ahead and restart, again & again. I did a few times then found something else to do. Cuz, that's no fun and I lost interest in what level 19 might look like.
Hey Alx2016, thanks for the feedback!
Level 18 is definitely one of the more challenging/unique/gimmicky levels of the game. I replayed it just to see how difficult it was, and almost lost myself.
The trick/gimmick is to primarily focus on using your tar shots immediately on the exploding zombies when they come into view. After you slow all of the exploding zombies, then you can hit the other zombies with tar.
The regular zombies broke one of my walls at the end of round 4, but I survived round 5 without any towers.
But you're right, level 18 is definitely quite different. The intent was to introduce the tar towers in a unique way and provide a break from the previous levels, but perhaps it was tuned to be too challenging.
Sorry you didn't enjoy it!
I was enjoying the game until mission 6, then the game just sucked like almost every other one. Dead end, now matter what combination you use or irregardless of having all twenty guys maxed out. Screw this, I've wasted enough time here. It's starting to look like the only T.D. games to play are the Kingdom Rush and Pirateers.
Keep it. Too much wasted time and stress. Be better off doing homework, which is just what this turned into. I detest games that dead-end in the middle somewhere or worse yet want to charge real cash for necessary endorsements...that's a double NO-way!
I am sicker than shit of play til you lose games. When I reach a level that cannot be finished no matter what combination endorsements you configure then kiss my ass. Plus there is game zero that merits paying real money to play, better off going to the casino, as there's a chance to win some back. Finally, if it takes 9000 restarts and 2 hrs of wasted time to find a winning configuration then that's just way too much like home-work, which defeats the purpose of searching for an enjoyable game...I'd be better off working on my major and have something to show for the loss of man-hours and stress.
