Playing as Chaos Fire and I just can't beat the Red Fire Ranker. I know he has a weak high attack, but he has a strong high defense, his low attack is equal to mine and his special drain gives him more mana even when I didn't have all that much to begin with. How do I deal with that?
I beat it! These were some of the most difficult puzzles I've encountered yet, but I managed it without a walkthrough and I am so proud of myself!
...Now the question is, can I do it again?
Am I doing this wrong? I've got tons of cash I'm not using because I never buy anything other than inn visits and am always selling extra junk, but I'm always low on scrap metal because I'm always upgrading my equipment and I can't seem to buy it in stores.
I know I'm not mistaken. Queen of the Sea, six down, 10 or 11 across, green. That was the very last one I filled in and by chance I filled in the correct one.
Assuming you didn't make a mistake elsewhere, due to the constraints around it the green "one" at 10 horizontal, 6 vertical can only be filled at the 11:6 position.
Sorry, you surely made a mistake while solving the rest of the puzzle. The algorithm that creates the puzzles doesn't allow for more than one solution.
Loading a puzzle and completing it doesn't count for some reason. When I'm brought back to the list screen, it still registers as incomplete and since it was a 30x30, I have to redo everything!
Okay, I know manual.doc and help.pdf are unnecessary for progressing through the game, but all the same, what are they there for? Are they an Easter egg? I've tried punching them in to ascii converters and hexadecimal converters, but they come back with unicode symbols at best and nothing at worst.
Get rid of the flying dollar signs and ghosts. They are nothing but a distraction. Also, the general readability has diminished. I think it's the smaller font sizes.
