TIP: If you aren't getting money for completing a building, make sure that you either A: Don't have any floors left to build, or B: hover over the "+money" area under your money bar (which collects the money you received".
It would be nice if there was some upgrades to the tank: You know, some sand, plants, an air filter, maybe a decoration. I'd also like for there to be a lot more fish and possibly visual upgrades to them. I really do like this game, though! It's unique for an incremental, fun, and cute! 5/5, especially for the active comments!
A strange bug: It appears that when you make it to an achievement point on something (for example, 50 oil rigs), when it goes to the new number, it also gives you a payout of that building. It means that if you bulk bought the last 10 buildings for an achievement for that building, you immediately get the payout of the building, PLUS keeping your number in the same spot. I got all of the money I invested into the Oil Companies back (practically) from this.
A tip for people playing this: Ranged units help a lot, but put them in the back. Healers are amazing. Sometimes, having an ability isn't as good as a custom murdercat (for example: Nya Nya's body gives 22 health, but it only works alone to give an ability. Give that some damage boosters, and it's better than the ability). You can click on stats to boost them when you level up. Running improves how far you can go, and most likely is a group stat. There are some points where you just can't avoid combat. These points are best handled by attacking the second person in the group (accomplished VIA jumping), if there is one. Have 2 ranged and 2 melee. Keys are very good for getting that one last item, but even they can sometimes fail.
I really like this game! I thought that it'd be a rip-off of Battalion Commander, but it turned out to be unique! Other than the lag, it's great! 5/5
Just some ways the game could be improved: 1: It'd be nice if the beginning said what strength, defense, etc does. 2: AUTOSAVE! (or at least a more accessible save button) 3: more ways to get income/more crafting things (just the shopkeeper seems silly, maybe you can build buildings with supplies, or help out other people). 4: Maybe a way to actually pick where your stat points are going. Other than those things, I can't think of anything wrong.
I really like this! Nice graphics (just a plus, graphics don't make a game), nice gameplay with some new mechanics, and a goal to achieve! (also, this shopkeeper really needs to pull himself together.)
I'd really like to see a lot more content added into this game! It's fun to play, it has some new systems, and it's a new concept. It has some bugs (on Chrome at least), such as the shop menu being all messed up (the traders), and the autosave not working. For idle games, I'd give it a B- (which is good).
I love this game, and all of the things about it! The branching story lines, the art, the complexity, the uniqueness, everything! Just one question, though: For the upgrades in the buildings, can you put in a number that shows how many times that upgrade has been purchased? I'd find that very useful.
-gives blacksmith gems- Blacksmith: Sorry, I made a dud. Here's your gems back, though. -he gives me the gems back- Me: Wait, if you used gems to make pickaxes, but you made a dud and you gave me the gems back... No wonder why it's a dud, you just gave me a handle, you idiot!
Advice: Bulk buying upgrades is as expensive as the final purchasable upgrade in the chain. Example: I can get 5 motor speed upgrades, and I click the last one. It only costs as much as the last one, so bulk buying is cheaper than 1 at a time buying.
@InGodWeTrust That's high quality animal poop, fresh from the funnel. Poop is just valuable in Kongregate idle games as well, I guess. (Idle Mine, this game, etc)
Thanks for the suggestions and the review! I definitely like the idea of tank decorations, I will look into that in the future.
