So, the protagonist's plan hinges on the fact that his sister wasn't redhead, and the immortal captain must sacrifice a redhead every year. Why is it then that I've been playing for 697 days, and the Dutchman is still vulnerable?
It's possible to win with the following level configuration: walk: 6; jump: 7; gravity: 8; platform: 2; door: 10; crate: 5; pounder delay: 9; pounder speed: 2; treadmill: 0; trampoline: 10; teleporter: 2; spike: 7; saw: 0. Probably not the most optimal one. Coming next - Draw Your Own Textures: The Game.
Awesome game, 5/5 as is. But now I want more modes, more weapons, aliens mutating more than once, more aliens, more maps, list of possible achievements, and more achievements. I am willing to wait for a sequel for all of that.
In case it wasn't obvious for some: for any upgrade that costs more than 3200 (on normal), you should build a monkey village, upgrade, then, if you don't need to upgrade anything else nearby, sell the village.
Banana Farm Guide.
Banana Research Facilities (4,2) cost 24400 to build and produce 3000 every round. That's simple. Banana Investments Advisory (*,4) cost from 15200 to 16900 to build and produce cash using some crazy arcane formula that depends on the current phase of the moon among other things. (2,4) cosistently produces more cash than (0,4). You should collect ballance before it reaches 20000 to maximize your returns. On average, BIA create 18600 in 7 rounds, or ~2650 per round, which is considerably less than what BRF gives. BRF are more expencieve to build, but recoup themselves in almost the same time, so that's not an issue. Thus, unless your rely heavily on Dartling Guns without lvl.3 Dartling Ammo Dump, you should always build BRF (4,2).
So, there I was, in my cowboy hat, riding a missile and trowing hand grenades at a cow to force it into an alien space ship for probing, when I thought: "Hey, this game is awesome!"
The big boss battle is too much luck-based, even with all of the upgrades. I destroyed the Bacontaor 2 twice while still failing the level because there is some pig alive somewhere that I can't even see.
Also, this is the first game I've seen that have pause-on-lost-focus feature, and yet retains the focus when I use multimedia keys to change playing track. It's a small thing, but it's still a good thing.
Jump height should depend on how long you press the button. Year counter should have space-separated groups - I died twice trying to figure out when I am.
Aha, funny:) My fail:) I think second girl wasn't redhead too!
