Bleh... Panzer Company Blitz... And I just spent my spare TP I would use to get bazookas on the men I lost to my own grenade. Oh well, a new round will present itself soon enough.
Epic moment in my game when I hand around 20 germans about to push through my lines. Then came the german artillery strike which killed them all and since my men were in bunkers or pillboxes they were unaffected. XD Though it did wipe out some of my cam nets which means I'll probably be getting hit pretty hard for the rest of this game...
@kentsdragon. There's a wiki for this game just search "Mud and Blood 2 wiki" there's a whole wealth of information there that should help you get started.
It's hard not to love this game. Sure sometimes things go horribly and you're met with impossible odds but other times a charge of massive charge of germans gets wiped out by their own men who foolishly toss grenades into their own lines. XD
It's fine the first few levels but once you get into the later ones it's annoying as hell since half the time you're just praying your cars won't hit something.
Great game, hardest fight by far is the Baron as you just can't kill him effectively at a low level. That's the only fight where I had to switch my entire set around so I had as much healing as possible so i could just tank my way through the fight doing a little damage here and there.
I honestly don't see why this game is so highly rated. The game itself is simple and bland while the only really cool thing about is that you have to buy pretty much everything to make the game look half-decent.
I hope there's a sequel to the game sometime soon as it's a lot of fun to play but gets slightly boring at times. Would be nice if there was a whole infrastructure around the building of ship and such but i have a feeling that would be asking a bit much.
For all you who are complaining about airstrikes, arty and grenades learn to use a bunker, they protect your soldiers from those events and one placed behind a trench allows your units to fall back when you hear an airstrike coming. Anyways I got totally owned today, i got three maps in a row that had thick trees and my soldiers couldn't see the germans until the very bottom of the map which didn't give them enough time to kill the soldiers before they crossed over.
I just completed all three badges in one round, it was quite easy as there was a big rock in the center about halfway up the field so I created a trench and bunker right behind it and by the end I had 4 soldiers with BARs, 4 machine gunners in the corners of the bunker, 2 medics, 1 officer and a signaler. I lost maybe 4 soldiers (One engineer, a medic and two frenchies) until a flaming guy ran into my camp and burst my entire team into flames which was slightly annoying as i was doing so good but funny at the same time as it's a rather random way to lose your entire team.
I really don't get why people complain about this game so much, it's a lot of fun once you get into it.
There is no sure strategy to win, there are always times when you will be slaughtered at the start. This in a way makes the game more fun as it's never the same old routine over and over. For formations read through the links posted in the games info section. This game is a great game, it just takes time to get used to it.
