The difficulty level sucks: I crush the normal enemies but get crushed in 2 turns by the boss. That is, after 18 areas. Moreover in PVP encounters it matches me with players 10 levels above me lol.
I remember this game: I haven't been able to finish it years ago because after I failed a level, out of the three buttons I mistakenly clicked the far right on instead of the middle one, taking back to main menu and I have to start over from the first mission. And today I did it again, looks like I can never finish this game @@
If you have trouble beating level 45 or 75, the key point is to wait for a lab to be fully leveled, then capture it right away with ~100 units, so that you can charge "capture" immediately. Capturing one of the two massive forts next to the forts give you the 100 units inside and will immediately turn the tides of the battle.
Different endings for hard and insane? Are you sure anyone would want to replay the game? Considering you are facing the same enemies for 21 levels lol, even the boss is just a super mummy.
A little bit too easy in my opinion, I got 3 stars on most of the levels in the first go. A few tips: 1. Focus your honor pts on mage and just forget about archer. 2. Remember upgraded towers are taller, their range may reach upper platforms. 3. Hero is extremely important, always send him to giants to slow them down. 4. Place swordsmen between cannon and/or mage for max efficiency. 5. Don't forget about the blow spell, you can knock shooters off mammoth's back or drag them towards your towers.
Archer is useless comparing to mage. Both can attack flying mobs, but mage can also hit ghost and deal more damage, being only slightly more expensive. Better to focus on upgrading mage at first.
There is no better leader than Erica: Her active power is the only one which can wipe the whole screen RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING of the level, and her passive when combined with final skill boosts fire rate of everyone by 30%. No one else can even come close to this in terms of damage output.
I am sorry, this game is a big no-no. Surely innovative, but too many problems as everyone else has mentioned, huge hit box for spikes, horribly slow respawn... Moreover this game is FAR TOO LONG. I was hoping the game to end during like 70% of the game.
