This is actually a cleverly designed game, in more ways than one. First, the notes of the song match up almost perfectly with the notes of the game, making it actually sound like you are playing the music. Second, it makes you get into a habit of knowing which colors match with which notes, and then breaks its own rules, making you need to think super hard, super fast. 5/5
I thought this would be the flash game equivalent of a B movie, but it actually is pretty intense. This deserves more plays. Rating 5/5 for a little more coverage.
I really, really thought that I would play this twice and then leave it forever. I really did. Now, twenty plays later, I got the "three hours of song" badge and I am still as addicted as when I first started. :O
Finally got my hard badge! This is really time-consuming challenge, with lots of frustrating moments, so here are some tips: First off, the Cancel power is your god now. Late in the game, you will be getting a new disaster every ten seconds, so be sure to check that you absolutely NEED to cancel, or you will lose buildings. If the cancel is God, then the Major Drift disaster is Satan. Make sure that you keep your most important buildings in the middle if possible, because the ones on the edge are in almost constant danger of being knocked into oblivion. Other than that, there really isn't that much to say other than making sure that you have a decent, sustainable system in place before even thinking about building the nexuses.
This game is one of the first flash games I've ever played, and it is hands-down the best. I remember spending hours playing and playing, trying to hone my skills to get as far into the game as I could. Returning to this game, I am glad it is still in good shape.
Don't waste your gold on any useless weapons, they will just clog up your inventory and make it more awkward to select your more powerful weapons in later missions. Case in point, do NOT buy the Short Sword or the Barbarian Ax. The Long Sword and Great Ax are much better, just wait for those. I kinda wish that you could change weapons via q/e.
It truly would be an impossible badge, as we plan to keep adding permanent campaigns and new objectives to existing campaigns for a long time to come. Most of the veterans who have been playing the game since launch are finished all the objectives currently available though.
Guys, just in case you were wondering, the second one came out! Unfortunately, it isn't on this site, but in my opinion it is pretty good. Go check it out.
Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately, a cancel option is not in our plans at the moment, since deciding who to send is part of the strategy.
