Same game you've played a hundred times before. There's not even some interesting twist. If it were the author's first game, I think I'd be more charitable. Not worth anyone's time.
It's a variation of Boulderdash. I'd agree that it's nothing special. However, I think having a "life" system in what is ostensibly a puzzle game is big misstep.
Would be great as a minigame for kids. It does get a little dull though, since all there is to mark progress is the letter/alphabet change. A background or art change once you reached Z might spice things up, as might a powerup or two.
Singer needed a few more takes to get it right. Or maybe to sing in a lower key. So, this upload is just an excuse to play a mildly funny and poorly sung parody song. Ugh.
My computer's not that old, and the last levels (beyond ramping the difficulty up to nuclear levels) chug and lag so terribly that the game becomes unplayable. It's too bad because I really enjoyed the rest.
Being obtuse is not the same as being challenging. With better (or ANY) instructions, this might be a good game, but I'll unfortunately never know. Experimentation is only fun when you know the base rules and subsequently have to build on them. "SHIFT to make friends" is not explanation enough to make this enjoyable.
I really like this series, but there are a few little annoyances that nag at the experience. The mute button still feels almost impossible to find, but that's fairly minor. What really breaks the flow is the use of the mouse in menus and the arrow keys in the game. It sounds minor, and it is to some extent, but the minor annoyance after every level builds up.
