When Jane comes and says she'll buy a VegiMite from the shop to raise James, don't bother...just keep saving for a better weapon...he can just die again (in one hit) after she uses the VM, anyway
Needs Tower AI, and cheaper upgrades. Closest Target, Farthest, Weakest, whatever...it'd be better than having half the towers on the map hitting the game guy who's merely in front of the pack...why? because they all have range that reaches halfway across the map. Maybe a really high dmg machine gun with smaller range would help, too. It's stupid to watch creeps pass up half the map because the guy in front just-won't-die.
Yep, Autosave by default is stupid...played earlier for 5 hours building up a 60-cell behemoth...came back hoping to try something different and then go back to that, and autosave was on by default, saved the new cell right away and all was lost.....just killed the replay value for me
Reload times are screwed up. Lazer's 4 second reload feels more like 40, Heavy Cannon never seems to even do anything (it could use a larger ammo btw), and Pulse Emmiter seems to be a complete waste with it's "6 sec" reload time allowing 20+ creeps to walk by before it even goes off!...Mazing works, towers don't, and money doesn't come in fast enough to feel like you're accomplishing something...50 creeps on the map after first 100 waves, I don't feel like I'm winning, I just feel like I'm losing really, really slowly...
No tower AI control makes the game feel very limiting and just turns it into a "use of space and mazing" than a strategic battle...watching 30 towers all concentrating on one creep just because he's in range (because they all big ranges) and farthest along track gets very boring
sometimes locks up in commands, lags, then tries to complete them while you're getting thrashed by zombies wanting to do something else...especially happens when mouse is dragged offscreen
Eternity weapon is overpowered, as well...can't even put creatures into play without being forced to redraw the SAME CARD every turn as it's put back on your deck...it's ridiculous...
Found a treasure chest at about lvl 4 in the Cave (lvl 4) with Ancient Armor in it...sold it for 15k and bought Excalibur and Daedric Armor (best you can get at shop)...
Demo...never gets pasts goats and making french pizza...Demo, but description treats it like it's the full game...fun, but a waste of time after getting so far to see I don't even get to play with the other 4-5 animals....was 5/5 til I "finished" it, now it's 2/5. Please inform players when you put a DEMO on this site...we really expect better here
This game is genius...great use of different firing styles, and some of boss fights actually felt epic...and the concept of healing yourself using your enemy's own bullets was a neat change to a full-health powerup...
This isn't Shootorial...this is what Shootorial wants to be when it grows up...
jbic757: It'd be a "l33t book game" if you held that blank piece of paper next to an open book...but make sure the paper is *small enough* so you can see both it and the book...
Of course, if "not perfect" means a non-tutorial in the tutorial section, then yes, it's not perfect...what's the point of showing an example if you don't share the code? Kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
