Dugong: This is not answer to my question. I didn't ask _why_ would one want homing at all, it's obvious. But one of the upgrades of homing mod says "*reduces* damage dealt". I don't want to reduce my damage! What is this upgrade for?
Daexion: Yes, it is! The description of "damage" upgrade of homing mod says "*reduces* damage dealt"! It's irrational!
The game is great at the beginning, but it becomes very repetitive later. On every continent you can buy and sell exactly the same goods. I'd like some diversity - e.g. tobacco in North America and apples in Europe.
What is even worse, the level requirements limit your possibility to buy new planes and thus to continue the main plot (it starts to be irritating in North America), forcing you to go back to former continents and transport hundreds (thousands?) of passengers to lvl up. That's not what we like.
This game is so amazing - so simple and so hard at the same time. How is it possible that such an awesome game has so low rating? If you don't like tactial games, go play strikeforce kitty...
1. This game is full of bugs.
2. Time challenges are impossible.
3. I can't see where my character is.
4. I can't move my character because he gets hit all the time.
5. AI is terrible - my allies run across whole map to kill the least dangerous enemy.
6. The final boss is invulnerable for 90% time. Together with infinite number of lesser enemies it makes him almost invincible.
Thus, this game doesn's deserve a single star.
I really like The Company of Myself, but Fixation cannot be compared to it. Both music and storyline are much worse. TCoM was kind of intriguing, mysterious. Fixation is not. Moreover, the dialogs are silly in general, even irritating sometimes. The only advantage of Fixation is that the levels are a bit harder, but hey - it doesn't pretend to be just another logic and dexterity based game, right?
