Why are the terrorists not wearing any pants? Oh, and the game is way too easy, no ammo limit, no penalty for missing, no bonus for head shots, no gun sway, no enemies shooting back.
Its enjoyable, but more often than not it becomes a game of luck rather than strategy. Its massively irritating when the computer draws 4 high pluses and 4 high minuses while I draw 8 minus 1s and 2s for 3 straight rounds.
So... its asteroids minus the capability of movement? And holding the right arrow + space got me to level 4 without being hit, at which point I was so bored I couldn't think about going any further.
Its an original idea, unfortunately not a very fun one after a few levels. Also, I'm going to agree with Tehaun about the shades being too difficult to differentiate, I'm using a Spyder calibrated monitor and I was randomly guessing much too often.
It's a decent time-waster, but it doesn't really do anything new in the genre. And on games like this.. R needs to reset the level, I hate having to click on a button
Enjoyable game.. but it needs sped up, it can take an irritatingly long amount of time between shots, it could really use a restart level button, and I'd like to be able to go back to earlier levels and try them again. And I'm not sure if this is intended, but when you clear your save and start over you keep your money.
Fairly well done game, and I love the retro feel.. however it is MUCH too difficult to heal once you start the wood elf portion. Potions are madly expensive and having to get all the way back to town to rest is near impossible after a while.
I'm sorry.. but what the hell is going on? Things are falling and blocking me, my spaceship turned sideways.. I'm not sure what I'm even supposed to do.
Graphics are solid. Controls are OK at best, it seems to range from overly mushy in the center to over-sensitive on the edges. My biggest problem is this game doesn't do anything new to a game design thats been around for 10 years now.
I appreciate adding "by Rotuc" early in the game description. That way I can go in expecting the standard trash escape game we've come to expect from Rotuc.
