You should be able to manually target fish. The torpedoes have the tendency to go after the weakest target within your sonar which gives the larger targets time to attack. There's so much more you can do with a Deep Sea Hunter 3.
The same flaws that marred the original game can be found here as well; Everything maxed, and all badges earned and only 32/48 missions. There are also 3 locked perks with no information how to unlock them. Still no way to alter the triangle formation of your squad in the game so pushing through a bullet hell will always cost you dearly. After playing for a while, lag will become a major issue. Still a 4/5 because of its solid concept and gameplay.
I wish there was an auto-create potion tool once you have found a workable combination. Writing down all the recipes is annoying. Also after running out of a particular consumable potion, the Infinite Potions cannot be selected anymore before creating a new potion. All in all it is a great game and concept, hampered by unpolished controls and navigation.
Don't try to upgrade Crit over 100%, it's a waste. The other stats still increase after 4-9 though and I am not sure if there is a max for them at all.
Ok some complaints: 1) Most dropped extra weapons are garbage except the ironfist shot 2) Maybe add another category to Upgrades, I maxed out everything after 72 levels 3) Unless the Super Shot key is supposed to be intentionally hard to find in the heat of the battle, let us pick our own one. Fun game otherwise.

I have been looking into a massive Boss 101 upgrade but really it might just be work on Boss 102 instead. It's only me so I have to use my time effectively.
