Idea: Togglable properties... Example: The door has a togglable property of ghost, so I reckon it could be applied to other items. Through the 'settings' tool, there could be a [Toggle Property] section that turns on or off with F or (preferably) an alternative key made only for using the toggle property (Second Function), which would allow for a togglable ghost hand that can still keep it's function of wielding. I imagine a ragdoll being able to become a ghost and then a solid with one key if there would exist an item that would work like a 'trigger', except for the second function only.
I just have a few negative points to make of this game.
1) The game is a lot harder to understand than SFH2--it took me hours before I realized I could actually upgrade my weapons due to lack of tutorial/guidance.
2) The maps are EXACTLY the same as the previous games. I played SFH1 again to follow the story better and I realized it was all just retextured in SFH3. That is extremely lazy. I am beyond disappointed by this point.
3) There is no story. I played through all the levels and challenges only to have ONE cutscene at the end, the final challenge.
4) Limiting the usage of characters is a bad move. My tired soldiers did not inspire my to train my other mates; it annoyed me.
5) AIs are broken. I find several spots on the maps that keep me immortal to the AIs because they don't recognize the areas as part of the map. I constantly got a team mate with a KDR of .1.
Overall I'd give this game a 2/5 because of the reuse of maps and the fact that bodies are still impenetrable.
Honestly, this seems like a generic launch game, except it's laggier. The first 2 were amazing classics, but this one is just generic. I appreciate the time and effort put into this game, but I simply don't like it as a sequel to one of my favorite games.
Noting flaws as I play:
Right off the bat, I notice a few spelling errors. After winning my first fight, I also noticed an incorrect display of victories. It says 2 victories, but I've only won one fight and 2 loses when I prematurely went into the next fight. Another thing I've noticed is the queue function does not work.
I do enjoy the concept, however, the flaws noted threw me off.
I fail to understand what draws people to these games. It's a freemium game that has been duplicated many times. Not to mention it's boring due to constant grinding
I just completed the game and I must say that I am more intigued in the story than ever before. The game was excellent and the story had me hooked. It's a damn shame my favorite character had to die, though.
