I think there's a bug in survival mode. If you play normally but don't finish the level until you have all emitters under control (by building weapons just next to them) and *then* hit survival mode, the final score you will get is actually as if you played on survival the whole time! BTW don't think you're gonna last in survival mode for more than a minute... the thing's a fcuking tsunami
Um, true, this game is awesome but definitely needs some work. I found it hard to click my units to upgrade them, well, if you can't make it so the unit-to-select glows (so we know which unit we are about to click) or something, make an upgrade button so we can click it and then click on the square the soldier is. I dunno, just saying. And surely, the other things the other users said (like numeric damage, polishing, etc.) are very true. I'll give you 3/5 and i'll change it as soon as it's updated.
I tried hardcore mode before and utterly failed, managed to get through the first boss after several tries, and then began casual mode which was *extremely* easier. After having finished the casual mode i have absolutely no idea how would anyone be able to finish the game on hardcore mode. I truly, honestly, sincerely think it's impossible
man i love this game. I just replayed it now to get the hard badge and i didnt get bored at all. Just a speed up button. And more games like this. Seriously. Awesome.

For Hardcore mode: Ok, so, the only way i could defeat boss 1 was with knight, spend every stat as 2 to health, 1 to attack and 1 to speed and the perk on health and after your speed reaches 200 spend 2 on health 2 on attack, and stun the dragon whenever it's about to cast a spell, and use pot whenever u are mid health. With this tactic i got up to the succubus and died from it because i had no more pots. +1 so people can see it

Yep, no way of defeating the boss in hardcore mode, i dunno, unless you're lucky. No training fights there, and i lose having reached the boss to like 10% of its hp. sad but true.
I tried rogue with full speed, and axeman with full attack, and even knight with spread stats and nothing. It's just impossible...
I really think the first boss in hardcore mode is impossible to win. Or i'm missing something. (unless there are other ways of levelling up instead of fighting the boss)
Great game, just finished it and i have one thing to say (since others have covered the rest). When you get the aliens it's very difficult to play strategically. I finished all alien levels by placing multiple level 1 towers and nothing else, since they produce the infesting alien. Especially in the last level i had to overwhelm the opponent with those and that was it. I didn't really need the other buildings at all.
(1) i'll have to disagree with ddd09ish1, i actually managed to seal all monster spawners in the last level except 1, and only because i needed 1 more turn (just 1 more!!). (2) Seriously AMAZING i loved playing it, although i'll have to agree that it's way too short and the enemies get really easy to kill with just a tiny bit of strategy. i'd say there should be different kinds of spawners for different monsters. (3) a speedup button is absolutely necessary. (4) certain monsters should be able to crack doors open (the last level was extremely easy because of the door usage) (5) once you buy a gun, make it so that it is selectable again for free. This game was a great deal of fun to play, seriously, i loved it, i cant express how much, im eagerly waiting for an addon or a sequel. :))
i just finished it in normal mode and i have some Suggestions: (1) when a person retreats, just add him to the stock of people you have available in that building. (2) maybe put achievements that give you something ? (3) the medics are seriously almost useless. maybe raise their healing ability? or the more they heal, the better they become? (4) i've never used the shotguns (i'm guessing noone has), maybe put instead of the shotguns attacking units in a line, they attack units in the adjacent lines? (5) @visionmaster, dude defenders are imba in almost every level because of their push back ability !!! especially last level !!! (that's it for today, i may have more when i think about it)
Hey thanks for your suggestions! Yes the defender gets very useful as last resort with high difficulties or levels! All the suggestions are good I'm improving the game right now
I was expecting a ton of bugs to be honest but there were none ! plus it was bigger than i expected ! great job man. Reminded me of the fun i had playing monkey island so 5/5
It's a pretty game, it needs spellcasting for some fights, which is awesome, but i frequently have to leave and do something else which means i need a "continue" button at least. Plus, when you die, make it so you don't just lose the entire progress ! Health regen is a must, and a use for gold is needed. Also the spells' bug needs to be fixed otherwise it's just unplayable... i give it 5/5 simply because i know you're working on the bugs :)
Ok, first of all, it's VERY easy, at least if you choose Redzilla. It has no replayability simply because you think of all the time you have to spend again waiting for it to count the xp, or simply to end a battle. Secondly. there's a bug with xp on training. If you choose the ingame training xp thingie and then train, it gives double (i think) the xp it's supposed to give.
double action hardly ever works so don't waste your time thinking your monster is gonna attack twice. I had both the double action skills (so i was about 13% chance ? ) yeah, it worked twice in the game. And i didnt even need it since my monster was too powerful anyway. I finished the last boss without a scratch.
IMPORTANT::: DONT let the person preaching about zombies' superiority publish his books or preach at your church, because after a while people will start joining the zombies !!!
one of the best rpgs i've played - i'd put it in the same fun category as sonny (wtF) anyway, here's my thing on it: i've finished it and my char's were just about lvl 18, with 22 ap points each. The last ability needs 30 ap and i havent even finished all the side-missions yet (since they unlock through levelling your chars and not through defeating bosses). So i'd say make the side quests unlock along with the bosses you defeat or the warps you find.
Something else is that the exp ring and the greed ring don't tell you how much is the increase in xp or gold.
Also i think it would be much more fun if you had pre-selected character classes (at least recommendations).
A question is: when do the levels end ? I mean, i finished the game but i can still go further and further down. When does it end ?
I will check it.
