Well, if anyone else gets stuck like I was, I finally figured out I had to take the river up into the next screen, and then do a jump across the river when I got out.
That is correct. I didn't know about the Level 6 thing at all, so I just ground my way up to buying a hard hat, and now a vest and blue jeans. I'm at Level 15. The two construction workers (Pinny and Ked) just have basic comments for me.
I cannot figure out how to get past the first construction barrier (like in Zone 6). No one has given me a quest or anything, and from other sites it sounded like I needed to be at least level 6 and/or wearing a hard hat. I have both and still nothing.
For me, this game is "almost" there. Some of the instructions are lacking or missing, and the grind becomes very real very quickly, perhaps more so than in other RPGish games. But the core storyline is unique, and the whimsical humor is fun, and the basic gameplay is in place. It just need a little ... more ... overall to seal the deal.
I've noticed a few people fencing off trees, maybe to "protect" them from being chopped down? Remember that Friends cannot actually cut down your trees. They can "cut wood" but it doesn't affect the trees permanently. Fencing off trees just means you're losing out on potential free wood.
Two things from the game descriptions kind of scared me: 1. "melee bullet-hell roguelite" -- all things I'm not looking for in a game. 2. "trackpad players will have a bad time" -- no kidding. Still, kind of engaging, but I'll stop with the easy achievement.
Finally finished this thing. (Level 45) Although I enjoyed it for the most part, a few final notes -- 1. I grew to despise rivers and lakes, and then grew to flaming hatred once they started to have "health bars" like stone and trees. 2. The balance of money, gems, and keys is pretty decent ... IF you are doing Adventure, Dreamland, and Story all roughly at the same pace. Toward the last half, I skipped Dreamland, and did rough runs through Adventure (i.e., not doing stone and trees), and my Story runs started taking money and gold keys at a more rapid pace. 3. Lost Castles are annoying. 4. The Ending -- really? Nothing to help wrap up the loose storyline at all?

RCV = Retroactive Cave Value -- Bonus points for all caves previously completed. JUST KIDDING: It stands for "Recovery" (how quickly you recover various point levels). After all the people (including myself) who have asked this, you think there would be something in-game to make this more clear.
Just figured out that this is not an easy badge but a medium, which seems appropriate (but perhaps bumping up against "hard"). So my apologies for my earlier complaint. Still, for a Badge of the Day, it's a bit much.
By what stretch of the imagination is this an "easy" badge? As others have noted, the sheer time involved is rather prohibitive. I had a headstart of sorts since I evidently accumulated 45 puzzles previously, but even then after 15 more I'm going to give up. It's just too much.
This is a decent solitaire game at the core, but perhaps with three problems: 1) it doesn't really offer anything terribly new or different as compared to other tripeak games, 2) the tutorial is one of the most hand-holding almost-patronizing ones I've seen for a long time, and 3) the default "share" status is an immediate turn-off.
It is not letting you through if you are above level 6 or have a hard hat? Are you still having this issue? It should be letting you through.
