Every now and then, Paprick pops on at login and says he's restored all your plants and animals. Is that a regular weekly occurrence, or is there another trigger?
Note -- the power level will update once you refresh the screen. Just a mild annoyance. Bigger for me, though -- I actually prefer the early game with the math fighting (the tower power run). Not so fond of how it's become just another RPG deck battling game.
For this, and other games, it doesn't seem to work in the background for me. I'd like to figure out the trigger for that kind of setting. It's aggravating.
Great analysis, ATB; really breaks it down well. I might also suggest hourglasses for the same cost as owls, except with the advantage of being able to walk through them.
No pun intended, but I think the "bones" of the game are pretty good, but the implementation of many elements are subpar. For example, the inventory system seems way out of whack, and the inability to sell or break down items seems like a very strange choice. A few hospitable changes and this could be a good game.
Wanted to like it, but I got stuck on the 3rd or 4th screen already (with the moving green block). Plus, don't be stingy with game control instructions in the description. Telling us to pause the game for such instructions is okay, I guess ... but you didn't tell us how to pause the game.
Something's just not clicking for me here (no pun intended) in terms of what to do to progress. Seems like I've hit a plateau at Level 15 and I don't know what to do to increase more points and gold. I know that there is talk of guides and such in other places, but there's not enough intrinsic appeal in this game to do the "work" of research. So, is there a simple, short summary of advice to keep in mind at all?
